"This place is a little piece of heaven. I have been coming to the Cottage for years and eagerly anticipate my visits. The island itself is wonderful and this spot makes it all the more fabulous. Sitting on the deck watching the boats go through the Thoroughfare is a great way to spend a morning. And by sunset, this is the best location in Maine as far as I'm concerned! Nothing beats this sunset. I love this place!"

"We all (10 of us ages 1 - 59) had a wonderful time, the house and yard were beautiful and we had plenty of room for nightly wiffle ball games!! We ventured to Camden for a Schooner Ride and Rockland to walk the breakwater, we bought lobsters a mile up the road (past the Olson House) at the docks from the lobstermen. The house has everything you need and is marked so you never have any questions and the apartment is a great addition for a large group. The views from the house and deck were breathtaking and the flower gardens are beautiful they along with the dock made for great photo ops. We spent a lot of time sitting on the beach, we brought 3 kayaks and a canoe and they were always being used, plus some fished off the dock too, it was definitely a vacation we will all remember and I would recommend this spot to anyone."

"We enjoyed our stay at "Mudflats". It has an incredible location at the top of the harbor, within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and tourist attractions in Boothbay Harbor. Cottage does not have second floor bathroom. Shane was a very accommodating landlord, a pleasure to do business with. We arrived at the cottage after a very long and stress-full journey to be greeted by a nice gift of wine and a goodie bag for our two schnauzers."

"After visiting Maine many years ago, we wanted to rent a house on the coast and stay a bit longer this time. This house was perfect......secluded on over 3 acres, yet only 10 min. from Tenant's Harbor and 15 min. to Port Clyde. The sound of the ocean waves lapping the rocks on shore was what I fell asleep to every night and awoke to every morning. This house was perfect for just the two of us, but would probably be fine for a small family, too. The pictures show exactly what the house looks like. Morning sunrises were beautiful on the deck. Rockland is the nearest "big town" with some nice restaurants and shops, but about a 20 min. drive away. We chose to dine locally in Tenant's harbor and Port Clyde and bought fish (at Jesse's Market in Rockland) to cook on our own. The added bonus for us was the clay tennis court a very short distance away. It was like our own private tennis court, which we used every morning!"
