"We loved this little cottage! My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect little get away! We were a short drive away from Camden and Boothbay Harbor for good day trips, but the rest of the time we could just relax and listen to the waves. Great views of the ocean!"

"This place is a little piece of heaven. I have been coming to the Cottage for years and eagerly anticipate my visits. The island itself is wonderful and this spot makes it all the more fabulous. Sitting on the deck watching the boats go through the Thoroughfare is a great way to spend a morning. And by sunset, this is the best location in Maine as far as I'm concerned! Nothing beats this sunset. I love this place!"

"Our stay in Boothbay Harbor was both exhausting and relaxing (if that's possible). This cabin was ideal for myself and my three teenage daughters, providing a cozy, inviting and tranquil location to relax between our many excursions. It was an ideal base of operations for trips from Freeport to Bangor. Ideally situated, it is only a couple of minutes from "downtown" Boothbay Harbor with quick access to all kinds of activities including whale watches and the ferry to Monhegan Island (a favorite of our many different trips).
Again, the place was ideal and I, and my daughters, look forward to visiting again in the future!"

"Quiet lake house within close proximity to three great seaside towns with good restaurants and shopping. You get the best of both worlds with the woods and lakes as well as the ocean. The owners were great as we got lost coming in and they responded immediately. The house provided a great week of peaceful relaxation with kayaking, canoeing and fishing. Enjoyed watching and listening to the different birds. I highly recommend The Call of the Loon."
