"I, along with three of my friends, spent a wonderful week at Lobster Cove. The house was just as described. Check-in and all contact with the Fosters was easy and efficient. The house was very clean, comfortably furnished, quiet and close to downtown. The walk into town is about a mile and easy for those accustomed to walking a bit--there's a park on the way. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The house is very convenient to grocery and restaurants. The deck, the swing and the adirondack chairs near the water are comfortable and provide a great place to relax and read! We had coffee most mornings on the deck!"

"My wife and I enjoyed a two week stay in the Maranatha Cottage in late August and early September. The cottage sits behind the larger house that’s also available as a rental from the same owner. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen with a new refrigerator and stove and although there were only two of us, there is ample sleeping space for a larger group. The cottage sits a few dozen feet further back from the water than the main house but there’s a lovely view of the sunrise over the water from the master bedroom window. The two properties sit at the water’s edge at the end of a cul-de-sac so it’s very quiet and peaceful throughout the day. This was a working vacation and we were away each day until evening, so we especially enjoyed sipping a glass of wine on the beach at sunset. While the location feels remote, good restaurants, shopping and services are available a few miles away in Thomaston or Rockland. The excellent Slipway restaurant at the marina in Thomaston should not be missed. We had comfortable and enjoyable stay in the cottage and felt that it was very reasonably priced."

"We had such a great time during our stay at the Laughing Gull. The cottage had the perfect mix of rustic Maine charm and modern amenities like the cable/Apple tv, a pair of mountain bikes, etc. the location just can't be beat. It was wonderful to start each day watching our 4 year old hunting for treasures on the rocky shoreline just steps from the cottage, then bike or walk to Pemaquid Beach. At the end of the day we relaxed while watching the sun set over John's Bay in our comfy Adirondack chairs on the edge of the lawn.
The owners, Tom and Laurie were very welcoming and kept the cottage well stocked with everything we needed from the basics to firewood for the working (and gorgeous) ocean rock fireplace - perfect for the cool nights, and plenty of fans for those hot summer days. The sound of the surf lulled us to sleep at night, and we're missing it already! We hope to make it back next year!"

"This condo was as described. Some of the photos may be blurry, but they showed the rooms accurately. The condo was very comfortable. It had everything we needed. Most important to me is it was very clean. The view of the harbor was fantastic! I loved the location. We could walk everywhere, to the shops, restaurants and the foot bridge! Paula was very helpful when I called her. She told us about a lobster pound down the road. We cooked lobsters two nights and ate them on the deck overlooking the harbor. I wish we could of stayed for a second week! This was a perfect place, I highly recommend this condo. We had a great week. Thank you Paula!"
