"Lovely small cabin on top of a cliff over looking a beautiful bay. My husband and I had a few days here while our children were away at camp. It was perfect for us. Although there are a number of houses in the area the cabin felt quite private. Great food options in the area from lobster on the shore to award winning dining. Kayaking in the bay was wonderful. Only negative was the closeness of the regional airport."

"This cottage is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Lots of room to spread out so we weren't tripping over one another, a well equipped kitchen, and a great wood burning stove kept everybody happy. The view and the sunrises are superb and we all enjoyed watching the lobster boat "traffic" and the mighty tides coming and going. Walking the stony beach at low tide looking for sea glass was fun and we found some nice little pieces. Another big plus -- the cottage is conveniently located and an easy drive to many interesting places in mid-coast Maine."

"I have been coming to Maine since 1993 and renting houses on the ocean. This cottage on Owl's Head is, by far, the nicest! In fact, this is my second visit. I retired in May, and my sisters, nieces and I wanted to go on a girls trip to celebrate so I recommended this cottage. My family loved it! From the moment we pulled into the driveway, they were struck by the charm of the place. Upon entering the main cottage, we were greeted with fresh flowers in the living room, fresh fruit on the dining room table, and beautiful views of the ocean from the dining room and kitchen. The owner even called us to make sure everything was to our liking. Other amenities included a wonderfully appointed kitchen, a large screen TV in the living room, and free WiFi. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and there are plenty of clean towels. And that's just the main cottage! The finished carriage house is a great place for kids with its own flat screen TV. One of my sisters stayed in the charming and fully furnished beach house down by the ocean and said she could stay there forever. During the day we explored light houses, hiked in nearby Camden Hills State Park, and took an easy day trip up to Acadia Nat'l Park. In the evenings back at the cottage, we enjoyed star gazing around a campfire down at the beach. I definitely recommend this wonderful cottage experience. I know I intend to return."
