"This was our very first time staying at Ledgewood Cottage and I have to say our family is hooked! We have been coming to the area for over 30 years with my parents and have always camped. My parents are now getting up there in age and we are finding that camping even in RV's is becoming difficult so this year we opted to all rent a house we could all be together at! This house was just what the Doctor ordered as my Mom fell immediately in love with the house itself, but to be able to see and smell the ocean from the kitchen, dining and living room was wonderful! There were 10 of us all ranging from the age 70+ to the age of 1 and there was plenty of room for all and so much for everyone to do at the house and in the area! It was so much fun to be able to go down on the rocks and just relax with the sounds of the ocean. We have all decided this will be our new annual family trip... Can't wait until next July! Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home!!"

"This lovely home is tucked away in a fairly secluded neighborhood off the beaten track and with an awesome view of the humbling ocean. The digs were extremely comfortable and the newly remodeled upstairs was sensational. We were 2 couples so the layout provided for full privacy and comfort. The oyster and lobster delivery services were as promised and delectable. The location allows access to Boothbay Harbor, Camden, etc (about an hour away) or stay-at-home, lazy days on the hammock. Thanks to Bill (who we were lucky enough to meet and spend time with!!!) and Bon (who we feel like we met through Bill) for making our Maine getaway so memorable."

"Cozy house. Plenty of space. Great view. Short walk to Pemaquid Lighthouse. Bar / restaurant a short walk up the road. Outdoor fire pit plus indoor fireplace for those rainy days. Firewood being included was a huge plus. Owner is a great guy and easy to work with. Highly recommended."
