"This was our very first time staying at Ledgewood Cottage and I have to say our family is hooked! We have been coming to the area for over 30 years with my parents and have always camped. My parents are now getting up there in age and we are finding that camping even in RV's is becoming difficult so this year we opted to all rent a house we could all be together at! This house was just what the Doctor ordered as my Mom fell immediately in love with the house itself, but to be able to see and smell the ocean from the kitchen, dining and living room was wonderful! There were 10 of us all ranging from the age 70+ to the age of 1 and there was plenty of room for all and so much for everyone to do at the house and in the area! It was so much fun to be able to go down on the rocks and just relax with the sounds of the ocean. We have all decided this will be our new annual family trip... Can't wait until next July! Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home!!"

"Delightful private setting -- lots of trees, lawns and plantings. Views of harbor and boats down to the shore, which is a short walk on a path and a pier (comfortable places to sit on the way down and back up). The cottage itself exudes charm and comfort -- cathedral ceiling, warm pine paneling, natural light through huge windows in the living room, great open deck, sleeping loft and double-bed in bedroom. The owners seem to have thought of everything one could possibly want re: appliances and utensils, linens, cleaning supplies, etc. Quite amazing to find all the modern conveniences (internet access, for ex.) in such a charming retro cottage. This would be a good stop on a tour of Maine coast attractions -- it's not far from several light-houses, the Farnsworth Museum, midway between Portland and Acadia NP, for ex)Round Pond village has a great place for lobsters on the pier, plus a more traditional restaurant (the Anchor). Handicapped accessible for those with a cane and an arm to lean on when outdoors. Would happily return -- and recommend!"

"This is a great cottage to really enjoy your Maine experience. Fully-stocked in a thoughtful way, everything is waiting for you upon arrival! There's fresh firewood by the fireplace, a hairdryer in the bedroom and binoculars waiting by the door. Janet is responsive and really seems to anticipate what someone could need to enjoy their stay. The screened porch and back deck are wonderful spots for meals, reading books or watching the sunset. The cabin is close to New Harbor for shopping, groceries and meals, and it's within walking distance of the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse for picturesque views and history. Check out Maine Kayaking for day adventures, and the Pemaquid Lobster Coop for delicious food and a gorgeous view. We can't say enough good things about the cottage and experience--and thanks for making it a welcoming place for our dog!"

"My wife and I recently enjoyed our fourth stay at Seas the Day. The changes Bill made are unbelievable. If you like falling to sleep with the sounds of the waves. If you enjoy relaxing in a hot tub, or just watching the lobster boats pick up the days catch this is the place for you. The master suite is as good as it gets. All new appliances in the kitchen and of course Wifi for those of us who need to be connected. If you also a fan of sunsets look no futher for a spot to go to. The onwers have spared no expense and are very accommodating, always available never intruding. Thanks Bill & Bon."
