  • Great private cottage on the ocean with rocks and small sandy beach

"My husband and I couldn't wait to get away after a hot rainy summer in Pennsylvania. We picked Maine because we thought the weather might be just right in September, and it was perfect. Cool, dry and relaxing. Enjoyed the lovely, super clean and well-equipped cottage. The owner was extremely helpful and left lots of information for us to easily traverse the area. Enjoyed the Pemaquid Light House and wonderful art gallery on the premises. Visited the Botanical Gardens in Boothbay Harbor....a must see. Would recommend the River Grill in Damariscotta for dinner and the Cupboard Cafe in New Harbor for breakfast. Best Lobster Roll at Sarah's Restaurant in Wiscasset. Also, binoculars and telescope were a nice touch in the cottage along with the TV and WiFi. Only disappointment was my husband couldn't locate ESPN, which is probably available, but we are technologically challenged. He did manage to find every football game that was broadcast that week on the football network. Whew!!"

  • Best Place On Earth To Unwind

"Where to begin? Family friends had asked us to join them on vacation in what they called the best place on earth to unwind. How could that be….well we saw firsthand what they were referring to. Seas the Day was by far the most breathe taking, peaceful, place of serenity that we have visited yet. From the sunrise to the exceptional view of the sunset we were at peace. This home is so welcoming; the home owners have done vacationers a favor by allowing them to experience a slice of their heaven. To be able to enjoy sleeping with the sound of waves crashing, walking down to the water’s edge to see nature first hand, fresh cooked lobsters delivered to the door, Dot’s fresh baked pies daily, resting in the hammock for hours watching the ocean view or just to venture through the local towns to enjoy all that they have to offer…..the list is endless. My husband and I now know what they meant by Best Place on earth to Unwind and we will surely be back next year to enjoy this with them again! Bill & Bonnie have opened their home for others to enjoy, we thank you!!"

  • Love Round Pond!

"My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful week in this lovely, well stocked cottage on the banks of Round Pond, Maine. Laura's driving directions were perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found on arrival. A well stocked, pretty little cottage in the woods. We shared the cottage with our 30 year old niece for the first two nights and the space was perfect for the three of us. The grill worked well for our outdoor cooking needs. Our favorite meals out included two excellent meals at Anhor Inn, a delicious lobster to be had at Muscongus Bay Lobster Co., and morning visits with Dot and Joe at Dot's Bakery, all within two miles of this quaint cottage! We took two trips to the Camden area and enjoye a five-star dining experience at Primo, in Rockland. Day trips included a visit to Damariscotta, a refreshing dip in the Bristol Pond, a bone-chilling swim in the ocean at Pemaquid Beach, the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, and a very fun voyage to Monhegan Island on the Hardy Boat! We've been travelling to Maine annually, from Wisconsin, for over 30 years to visit family in Portland. Being tourists in Maine is a somewhat new experience for us. Round Pond, it's environs, and most of all this lovely cottage, all contributed to one of our best vacations yet! The only drawback was the Mosquitos at sunset. But, the cottage was well stocked with repellant! Oh, who is the little old lady that walks down the hill on the property for her daily swim in the ocean?"

  • Fabulous ocean views from living room and kitchen !

"We really enjoyed the fantastic ocean views from the living room and kitchen !! The home is very private, and we enjoyed watching the boats, birds, and the crashing surf. There is a path from the house down to the rocks from where the views are breath taking. There is a booklet with information about things to do in the area. The binoculars and Wifi were a nice touch. There are not too many channels on TV, but there were many games and jigsaw puzzles that we played. Had a fun trip to the top of the Pemaquid lighthouse, Pemaquid beach, Boothbay railway village and botanical gardens during this stay. Pictures don't do this house justice, and we would love to return. Thank you Laura. We had a wonderful vacation !"
