"The house was comfortable for 4 adults and 4 children. We really enjoyed the large deck area and yard. The location was easy access to a put-in for paddle boards and kayaks. Easy trip to Rockland and Camden. We enjoyed walking to the small grocery store and biking to Drift In Beach. St. George/Tenants Harbor/Port Clyde are lovely."

"We rented this charming farmhouse for a week with another couple and our two labradoodles. Worked out great. The house is in a perfect location, nearly equidistant to the harbor towns of both Camden and Lincolnville. About a mile down the road is the trail head for some excellent hiking (I highly recommend hiking to the top of Bald Rock Mountain if you can...gorgeous views of the ocean for miles). And, the wonderful Cellardoor winery is less than a quarter mile from the house. Free tours and wine tastings...you can just walk home if necessary!
House was well equipped for just about anything we needed. Nice to sit out on the back deck in the morning and have coffee overlooking the backyard pasture. The house is quite old, but has been well taken care of, including new windows throughout. Kitchen stocked with all the necessities, though we only ate home once (so much to explore in the area).
Amanda was a pleasure to work with. Fortunately, we didn't run into any problems. We would definitely recommend this house to friends wanting a place to stay in the Camden area."

"My husband, 9 year old and I stayed at Long Cove Cottages for about 2 weeks and it was the highlight of the summer. The proprietors are there when you need them. The cottages were clean, cute and had everything we needed to cook like we were at home. Of course there are excellent local restaurants. Probably our favorite was the Happy Clam just down the road. All of the photos and description of the cottages and area are accurate. There is no end to options of things to do and that are entertaining for all ages. Prepare for a chill if you plan on taking a dip in the ocean, but there are warmer lakes nearby. We spent most of our time relaxing in the cabin - sitting on the deck watching the weather come in and the lobster boats come and go out of the cove. The only negative was having to leave at the end of our stay."

A perfect house for a week of relaxation with the whole family.
"We arrived for the week with five adults and our dogs. The house is set along a beautiful water view with a private access road. We did not have to worry about a busy road nearby with the dogs and the sunsets over the water were stunning. The front lawn was a great place to spend the late afternoon playing cornhole and enjoying the day. We spent our mornings and evenings on the deck looking out at the view. The screened in porch and picnic table was perfect for every meal we ate at the house. The outdoor space was perfect for the dogs as well. Our kids used the tennis courts down the road, and we all walked the dirt road daily with the dogs.
The layout of the house was perfect for us. When we arrived, it was perfectly clean and so well designed. Everything had a place and we immediately felt right at home. There was a master bed and bath on the first floor so that we could stay there and the "kids" stayed upstairs. They enjoyed using the common space on the second floor for board games and card games after dinner. The bedrooms upstairs were spacious and perfect for people to have a little private space when anyone needed it. Downstairs, the kitchen/living room open space was great for us because we did a lot of cooking, especially in the evenings, and there was room for everyone. We used the outdoor cooking pot one night for lobsters and they were excellent. We did not use the little study room off the kitchen much because we were either cooking or outside. We totally lucked out with the weather and found ourselves wanting to be outside every moment possible.
We have a truly wonderful week. We have not been able to do a family vacation to Maine in years because of competing schedules. This week lined up by chance and we found Jutta's Place. Because of the wonderful time we had this summer, our kids have already worked to line up a common week off next summer so that we can return. This house was a great place for all of us to unplug, relax, laugh, eat, and enjoy summer in Maine."
