"Terrific house for our extended family with plenty of living space for everyone. Our 3 dogs were in heaven. We loved the open feel of the house - everywhere windows. Everything was very clean, beds were comfortable, comfortable furniture throughout. Dennis was easy to reach, happy to answer as many questions as we had. He as immediately accessible when we had trouble logging into the WIFI network. We spent a part of each day at Knights Pond just down the road. It was an unusual combination of total privacy yet easy access to Belfast, Camden, etc. We particularly enjoyed Belfast. Thank you for such a great getaway!"

"Every detail as described by Darren in this listing was accurate. He was extremely easy to work with and he paid attention to the smallest details to ensure a relaxing week's stay in this superb home. 7 family members were in our group along with our 3 dogs who also enjoyed the area. Live lobsters were available a few miles away and we were able to eat a total of 77 during our stay. Thanks again Darren for sharing your home with us. Highly recommended !!"

"Upon entering the Starboard Cabin, we were immediately entranced with the beauty and comfort of our surroundings. The decor was impeccable, yet offered the warmth and comfort of home. The complimentary basket of goodies was the extra added touch that ensured perfection. Peace and serenity engulfed us as we sat on the deck overlooking the harbor's beauty. The location was superb in offering us so many options within walking distance, although we didn't even have to leave the coziness of the cabin to enjoy our vacation. The owners were delightful and extremely gracious hosts. We are looking forward to a return trip to the Starboard Cabin in the near future. It was truly a "little piece of Heaven"...."

"My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful week in this lovely, well stocked cottage on the banks of Round Pond, Maine. Laura's driving directions were perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found on arrival. A well stocked, pretty little cottage in the woods. We shared the cottage with our 30 year old niece for the first two nights and the space was perfect for the three of us.
The grill worked well for our outdoor cooking needs. Our favorite meals out included two excellent meals at Anhor Inn, a delicious lobster to be had at Muscongus Bay Lobster Co., and morning visits with Dot and Joe at Dot's Bakery, all within two miles of this quaint cottage!
We took two trips to the Camden area and enjoye a five-star dining experience at Primo, in Rockland. Day trips included a visit to Damariscotta, a refreshing dip in the Bristol Pond, a bone-chilling swim in the ocean at Pemaquid Beach, the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, and a very fun voyage to Monhegan Island on the Hardy Boat!
We've been travelling to Maine annually, from Wisconsin, for over 30 years to visit family in Portland. Being tourists in Maine is a somewhat new experience for us. Round Pond, it's environs, and most of all this lovely cottage, all contributed to one of our best vacations yet!
The only drawback was the Mosquitos at sunset. But, the cottage was well stocked with repellant! Oh, who is the little old lady that walks down the hill on the property for her daily swim in the ocean?"
