  • Wonderful vacation home

"My family and I had a wonderful experience staying in this beautiful home. We had 9 adults and 1 toddler and there was ample space for all. We were able to have a large group stay here very comfortably and never felt cramped. Everyone enjoyed having their own personal bathroom which was a huge plus for privacy. We never had any problems with the water as some reviews mention. We enjoyed the spacious deck and took advantage of the large grill for many family dinners which were a pleasure to prepare in the gourmet kitchen. There were many games/puzzles and kids toys making this a good home for families and children. Although the house is a bit remote we enjoyed the peaceful quiet and privacy. There are plenty of places to explore in the area but they do require a bit of a drive, although the scenery is very pleasant. Our family had a wonderful time at Pemaquid Beach which is a short drive away. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. Would highly recommend this house!"

  • Stunning Views from a Cozy Cottage

"The Yellow Cottage was exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful location with sweeping views over the water while being rustically affordable. The house itself is very cozy and cute and felt larger than it looked in photos. The big living/dining room is great for congregating as a group! You won't find all the bells and whistles of fancier homes and inns in the area, like boutique shampoos or giant fluffy towels, but you won't pay for them either. The bathrooms are older/outdated but serviceable - they were the only thing we felt could use minor upgrades. But who cares about older bathrooms with these views?! We spent relaxing mornings and evenings sipping coffee then wine on the screened porch and walked out on the rocks to dip our toes in the brisk ocean water in the afternoons. Our stay at the Yellow Cottage was a heavenly and relaxing vacation that didn't break the bank!"

  • Wonderful house!! Great space for family with two teenagers.

"This house was just what me and my 13 year old daughter and 15 year old so. Needed to enjoy out stay. We had enough space to either spread out or be together comfortably. I made breakfast every morning and we packed lunches for our excursions. We were centrally located to all places. We walked to and from town and we were able to drive to Pemaquid and all the other surrounding regions for day trips. I can't say enough good things about my stay here! The washer and dryer were definitely a plus with a mom and two kids."

  • Comfy, roomy private apartment

"We really liked this well-appointed apartment, which doesn't share any walls with any other units so it's very private. Great central downtown location with an upstairs deck, but no view. Loved the roomy bedroom with a king-sized bed. Small-ish bathroom, but meets all your needs. Great compact kitchen with full-sized refrigerator. Separate dining room. Off-street parking in lot next door. Very friendly and helpful owners."
