"If you don't need water parks, malls, long lines and chain restaurants, but appreciate fresh lobster right off the boat, astonishing scenery, a quiet oceanfront location, excellent local eateries, a sandy beach and wonderfully clean accommodations, THE LITTLE RED HOUSE IS FOR YOU. At nearby New Harbor lobster fisherman unload their catch daily at one of the most photographed harbors on the Atlantic. Taking a ferry ride to Monhegan Island is a must as is watching the sun rise at nearby Pemaquid Point light. Art galleries abound in the area. In the 40+ years we have vacationed along the Maine coast, our time at the Little Red House is at the top of the list. It is well-equipped, spacious and a joy to visit. You will want to come back."

"We spent the last week of September and the first part of October at the Wicked Cute. Three glorious days of 70 degrees then a freak storm with 5+ inches of rain and ending the stay with a high temp of 50 degrees. Through in watching the blood moon eclipse over Norton Pond and that's was our adventure in a nutshell. The Camp was cozy comfortable for our stay and we loved the tranquility. The owners were great to work with and you won't be disappointed if you decide to stay here."

"Green Landing was the perfect choice for our family vacation. We were a family of eight--2 sets of grandparents, our daughter and son-in-law, and our two grandchildren. Green Landing is set at the waters edge of the Damariscotta River where we watched the lobster boats haul in their catch each morning and evening. We could enjoy this view from either the expansive wrap around porch of the main house or on the dock just below the house. Our grandchildren loved crabbing off the dock and trying to catch lobster with their fishing poles. There is a huge table with chairs on the porch where we ate lobster and corn on the cob. In fact, the setting was so perfect that we ate most of our meals at the house because we couldn't find a restaurant that had comparable views! The East Boothbay General Store is withing a five minute walk and is definitely worth a visit. There was expansive green space for the children to run and play and plenty of games and puzzles for both adults and children. The location is ideal because you feel as though you're in your own private sanctuary, yet Boothbay Harbor and all its activity is minutes away. Nell, the owner, was a delight and promptly replaced the old modem with a new one so we would have Wifi. Green Landing is a beautiful, magical place that exceeded our expectations, and we would most definitely return."

"Across the street from a lovely park, the cottage has ocean views and beach access. The kitchen and dining area are new and beautifully finished with all new appliances. The area is lovely for long stroll or a short walk into Camden with plenty of restaurants and shops. We would definitely recommend this rental."
