  • Ahhh-mazing

"What a special place! We rented Branch Haven at the end of June for a week and are STILL talking about how amazing the week was (even with all the mosquitoes!). Here is our low-down... The house: Tons of space for sleeping, very clean, open common area, great deck, modern amenities. The pool was chilly (June!), but tons warmer than the ocean and right at the house!! Kids loved it! The location: Perfect for feeling like you are secluded enough to be away from it all, yet super close to beaches, only 20 minutes from downtown Bath. Sunsets were gorgeous and it was so fun to watch the lobster boats head out and come back in right from the deck. The owners: So easy to work with and so enthusiastic. So very professional yet so warm - a wonderful combination! We cannot wait to return to Branch Haven. It truly is a beautiful home and we have wonderful memories from our family vacation."

  • This Place Was Amazing

"My wife and I have been many Places, but this was one of the nicest. The cabin was great and the setting was beautiful. We had our 2 small children with us and it was nice to just relax in the house and on the lake (with the kayaks or tubs we brought), or just sit in the Jacuzzi. Walking down to the “point” every morning was a highlight. It was also a good spot to go see some of the very scenic towns, like Camden, Belfast, Bar Harbor, Freeport and Portland. This is the first time we had ever rented a house and everything was great. The only problem was being there for a week makes you want to start looking for real-estate. This place really is what I would consider a dream cabin."

  • Stunning Views from a Cozy Cottage

"The Yellow Cottage was exactly what we were looking for - a beautiful location with sweeping views over the water while being rustically affordable. The house itself is very cozy and cute and felt larger than it looked in photos. The big living/dining room is great for congregating as a group! You won't find all the bells and whistles of fancier homes and inns in the area, like boutique shampoos or giant fluffy towels, but you won't pay for them either. The bathrooms are older/outdated but serviceable - they were the only thing we felt could use minor upgrades. But who cares about older bathrooms with these views?! We spent relaxing mornings and evenings sipping coffee then wine on the screened porch and walked out on the rocks to dip our toes in the brisk ocean water in the afternoons. Our stay at the Yellow Cottage was a heavenly and relaxing vacation that didn't break the bank!"

  • Love all the Updates

"I just loved the new bedroom linen updates. The Master bedroom transformation was so beautiful. I loved the single bedroom too! The kicker were the two ceiling fans, one in the Master and one in the kitchen. I didn't get to use the grill this time but that is great addition for next time."
