  • Great place to relax and enjoy family fun!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sea Chimes! Secluded but still close to so much. Our girls enjoyed the provide canoe and kayak while we spent time watching them from the dock. Lovely clean accommodations and great tips and recommendations from the owners. Don't miss dining at Moody's!"

  • Excellent week in Phippsburg!

"My husband and and I have vacationed in phippsburg many times....from camping at Hermit Island to the Lighthouse at Sebasco Resort. This was the first year we rented a house and we were so glad we did! The house is beautiful, clean, well maintained and stocked. I surprised myself and cooked more than anticipated because the induction cooktop was so much fun. I'm usually kind of skeeved at using dishes, glassware, walking barefoot, etc. in a strange place but this house was so clean, I didn't feel any of that. We had fun paddling around in our rented two person kayak all week. The water is like glass in the morning and evening. There are schools of tiny fish that jump out of the water and with a kayak you can glide right through them! Things that surprised me about the house compared to the website.....it's on a very private road with 3 houses on it. The road is kind of steep but definitely doable. The shower is strange...probably the least desirable feature of the house. Jim says they're thinking of putting in an outdoors shower, which would be great. Nothing like a little outdoor nudity to make a vacation interesting! My suggestion would be to enhance the deck to compliment the beautiful view and make it a nice place to sit in the evening. All in all, would definitely return to this lovely home for another vacation."

  • A lovely vacation spot!

"I cannot say enough about this lovely condo with a sweet cottage feel. It's easily in the best location in Boothbay Harbor, i.e., walking distance to restaurants, cafes, galleries and outdoor activities. At the same time it's a wonderfully private spot as well. I hope to return very soon!"

  • The perfect choice

"The cottage has all the amenities one could want without sacrificing its coastal charm. It's a very short drive to downtown Searsport, close to beautiful state parks, museums, antique shops and fresh seafood. The cottage provides easy access to the beach, fantastic views, a deck great for catching rays, grilling or just watching the tide roll in. Very clean, with comfortable beds, nice linens and enough hot water for everyone. The pictures don't lie. We have used VRBO to stay across the country, and always had a positive experience. But we've never had a more friendly and accommodating host working with us than Nancy. Her thoughtfulness and consideration made our trip even better. It's not a question of if we will be back, just a matter of when."
