"Our great experience started right with our initial contact. Kirsten was extremely helpful, very quick to reply and she answered every question completely (and we had a lot of them). Upon arrival we were met by Becky who made sure we had everything we needed. The personal touch was very much appreciated.
The cottage far exceeded our expectations, it was clean, well cared for and very well appointed with all the things you would ever need. The view out of the back either on the boat shaped deck or direct from the living room or kitchen table was breath taking. We could watch the seals frolic on the rocks in the Damariscotta River day or night and this became one of our favorite things to do.
The location for us worked out perfectly it was about 60 miles to Portland and about a 2 1/2 hour drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor. There was a lot to do - from exploring the Pemaquid lighthouse to getting the freshest Loster cooked for you so you could bring it home to enjoy at Osiers Co-op (we went twice while we were there) we had great time in Maine and we loved staying at Becky and Kirsten's cottage. We highly recommend staying here if you can get a reservation. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have stayed there and met some very nice people along the way!"

"My husband and I rented the cottage for a long weekend and to celebrate his birthday. I loved being able to walk to the General Store, harbor, Schoolhouse Bakery, and East Wind Inn. We enjoyed the front porch very much, watching the lobster boats come and go. Remodeled bathroom was great, also the bed was very comfortable. You can hear the ocean from the bedroom! The kitchen had everything we needed and we did a bit of cooking while we were there. The cottage was clean and I really liked the seaside decor. We are hoping to come back in the Spring. Thanks to Deb and Linda for sharing their great location with us and making our trip so easy."

"This home was everything we had hoped for! So comfortable and quaint..furnishings were very homey, kitchen easy to work from. Comfy living room with wood burning stove, which we took advantage of! Loft space off the main house perfect for extended family. And Tenants Harbor was perfect! Access to the bay and the shared floating dock was the best! Great place to sit and dream, read or just be. Best part of the house was the outside porch! Comfy, and the views were spectacular! The owner was very accessible and friendly! We will be back Maine!!"

Don't tell anybody about this place, it's awesome!
"Not sure where to begin, but the house, the location, the views, the scenery, the food were all spectacular. A great place to see Maine. Hard to beat a 10 drive to get fresh lobster from the coop, or if you're lucky, flag down a lobsterman checking his traps and buy them right off the boat! Plenty of things to do, but also a great place to not do lots of things and just plain relax and unwind. Sit on the porch in a rocking chair and watch the Osprey and the occaisional Eagle perch in the trees right in front of you.
The house and furnishings are great. Everything you need is there for cooking. Grocery shopping is 20 minutes away."
