"This house is perfect for family reunions or large groups. It has an authentic New England charm with all the modern conviences such as new dishwasher, cooktop stove and two refridgerators. It is a few steps away from the water and was very convient to the little picturesque town of Popham. We loved walking to the 'local' convience store to get an ice cream or a fresh lobster! The pictures do not do this property justice as its coziness and charm are New England at its best. The owner has decorated it to be both cute and comfortable with each bedroom having a distinct charm, I especially liked the nautical themed bedroom upstairs for the kids complete with teddy bears. It was especially nice not to have to bring our own sheets and towels as the owner supplied an abudance of both. She also has lots of beach chairs and toys. We intend to rent this again, it's a real winner!"Guest: MHB Date of Stay: September 2012 Review Submitted: October 31, 2012View listing
"Our multigenerational family of 12 just returned from a wonderful week at Schooner's Landing. The ocean front house was beautiful with warmly decorated rooms and peaceful views of the ocean. The downstairs area provided the grandchildren with many activities, from toys to video games, and from watching a movie to playing board games. The kitchen was well-equipped and it was fun to cook while we all talked together in that spacious area. Each family had their own level of the house which was nice for comfort and privacy. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a welcome basket which made us feel we were in a "home away from home." The owners were available at any time for questions and were extremely helpful. We would recommend this home!"Guest: Roxie B. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 5, 2014View listing
"Visiting Camden for a wedding, had a wonderful time. House was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of room for 8 adults (and 2 kids). Beautiful view from dock, with kayak/canoe ready for use. Would highly recommend to anyone."Guest: Paul D. Date of Stay: October 2012 Review Submitted: November 6, 2012View listing
"Guest: Dave Date of Stay: 7/4/12 What a wonderful time ! The place was great. We spent many hours on the porch enjoying the views and breezes off Penobscot Bay. The private beach was a special spot where we walked looking for sea glass and going to the park; walking the trails. Spent time in Camden, Camden Hills and Belfast. Great restaurants within 15 minutes. It was incredible!! Beautiful home, beautiful setting and very peaceful. I will be returning next year."Guest: dave Date of Stay: June 2012 Review Submitted: August 26, 2012View listing
