"My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful week in this lovely, well stocked cottage on the banks of Round Pond, Maine. Laura's driving directions were perfect and we were pleasantly surprised by what we found on arrival. A well stocked, pretty little cottage in the woods. We shared the cottage with our 30 year old niece for the first two nights and the space was perfect for the three of us.
The grill worked well for our outdoor cooking needs. Our favorite meals out included two excellent meals at Anhor Inn, a delicious lobster to be had at Muscongus Bay Lobster Co., and morning visits with Dot and Joe at Dot's Bakery, all within two miles of this quaint cottage!
We took two trips to the Camden area and enjoye a five-star dining experience at Primo, in Rockland. Day trips included a visit to Damariscotta, a refreshing dip in the Bristol Pond, a bone-chilling swim in the ocean at Pemaquid Beach, the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, and a very fun voyage to Monhegan Island on the Hardy Boat!
We've been travelling to Maine annually, from Wisconsin, for over 30 years to visit family in Portland. Being tourists in Maine is a somewhat new experience for us. Round Pond, it's environs, and most of all this lovely cottage, all contributed to one of our best vacations yet!
The only drawback was the Mosquitos at sunset. But, the cottage was well stocked with repellant! Oh, who is the little old lady that walks down the hill on the property for her daily swim in the ocean?"

"If you are looking the quintessential lake cottage this is it with all of the modern conveniences. A lovely, well maintained cottage that is both comfortable, relaxing and offering a wonderful view. The lake was clear, warm and inviting. The kitchen is well appointed if you are inclined to indulge your inner chef. If not ,Belfast is a short ride away with many fine restaurants. There are so many things to do and sights to see along the coast of Maine that the week went by all too quickly. The guest house provided even more privacy for our party of four. I can't wait to return!"

"Thank you so much for sharing your home with our family.
We enjoyed your special slice of heaven on earth...
We were able to watch our families interact with laughter and tears,
Fearless moments jumping off the "Kids Floating Island".
Confidence was built and relationships strengthened.
Knees were skinned and legs bruised.
A half marathon was raced and many miles were hiked and jogged.
We caught fish and were pampered in the spas.
And we ate, and ate, and ate some more...
Food prepared by others, food prepared together, and creative
leftover original recipes were tried.
Thank you for being willing to let us use your home to make new memories for our family.

"We will definitely be back! The Comfort Found was perfect for me, my husband and 2 kids (8 & 9 years old). Once we got our keys and moved in, we felt right at home (Jeff and Sharon have thought of every last detail). The location is perfect and easily accessible for a quick stop to freshen up before heading back out again. The bedrooms are roomy & comfortable and I enjoyed relaxing in the sunny front sitting room with a book. Overall a terrific place to stay in Damariscotta."
