"This was the second time we have stayed at Maurice and Valerie's condo. If you read other reviews, you will see that there are quite a few people who have made this their vacation place more than once. The reason for that is the professional and prompt response from the owners...the fantastic location...and a condo that has everything you need. It is very difficult to find parking in Boothbay Harbor, so the short walk to the center of town is a real plus! The four of us are seniors and two of us are not fond of walking. But this five minute walk is a delight because you view the harbor as you stroll into town.
If you've had a long day playing tourist, you have the choice of making dinner in their lovely fully stocked kitchen or heasing to the fro t of the complex and grabbing a bite to eat at Dunton's ... a little stand that offers sandwiches and seafood. Don't laugh, but after a few days of eatting lobster and scallops, his kielbasa sandwich is a nice change, plus you don't have to get in your car to get it.
The phrase "location, location, location" is the perfect way to sum up this two-bedroom / two-bath condo!! Oh...our friends could not believe how quiet and peaceful it was during the entire stay. We'll be back."

"Upon entering the Starboard Cabin, we were immediately entranced with the beauty and comfort of our surroundings. The decor was impeccable, yet offered the warmth and comfort of home. The complimentary basket of goodies was the extra added touch that ensured perfection. Peace and serenity engulfed us as we sat on the deck overlooking the harbor's beauty. The location was superb in offering us so many options within walking distance, although we didn't even have to leave the coziness of the cabin to enjoy our vacation. The owners were delightful and extremely gracious hosts. We are looking forward to a return trip to the Starboard Cabin in the near future. It was truly a "little piece of Heaven"...."

"The cottage comfortably fit our family of 6! The amenities at the Newagen Inn were amazing perks- hammovks by the sea, a heated swimming pool, a great restaurant with fantastic happy hour deals. We visit Boothbay every year for a few days and spending the whole week there was so nice. We finally had a chance to visit the aquarium and the botanical garden and got our fill of lobster, too. I would have given this a 5 star if the living room couch had not been completely worn out and if the deck furniture had been cleaner. I just spread some sheets out on all the furniture and made it work fine. I was very happy with the rustic cottage feel of the place. We will definitely return in the next year or two!"

Charming 100+ year old home, breath-taking waterfront view, spectacular sunrises!
"My son-in-law grew up spending his summers in Bayside, and he selected this beautiful property for our 2 week stay. Five bedrooms in the main house plus two in the carriage house gave us plenty of room to spread out and enjoy ourselves, but the huge porch (even bigger than it looks in the photos) was the place we all tended to congregate and enjoy the spectacular view of the Penobscot Bay, from before sunrise until late at night. Three of the bedrooms plus the TV room all have water views -- and we never closed the windows or the shades in our bedroom so we could enjoy it every waking moment, including some postcard worthy sunrises. Having both the century-old icebox-converted-to-a-refrigerator plus the modern refrigerator/freezer made keeping food and drinks for our large group a breeze, and the well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking for a crowd. This Bayside cottage is just the place for those who want to stay in the village and venture no farther out than the Corner Store for the not-to-be-missed Maine blueberry ice cream and milkshakes, but it's also perfectly located for day trips to Acadia National Park, the quaint town of Belfast and the stately, historic city of Camden, or a climb of Bald Rock or Mt. Battie in Camden Hills State Park. We would love to return for another stay!"
