"We have holidayed on 5 different NE lakes and Sebago is by far the best. Portland is 40 minutes away, with great restaurants and museums. Sebago is a big beautiful lake and Whittemore Cove is the best protected swimming, sailing, and boating cove on the lake. The property has a wonderful lawn leading down to a sand beach and large seating area on the dock. The dock is big enough for a runabout and there is a safe mooring. The kids loved jumping from the large rock at the entrance to the cove.
The house is well laid out for parents and kids with separate lounge areas and a great deck off the well appointed kitchen.
We can recommend Seacoast Adventure park for a great high wire and zip line afternoon for all ages.
We will be back again next year. Thanks Jim."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing, entertaining guests, kayaking, sunning on the dock and listening to the loons. While most of the time we were only 2 people, we were able to invite a few friends of our daughters to join us in this spacious home. We rented a small motorboat and parked it at the dock. The lake is very clean and provided us with ample opportunities to kayak and swim. Fishing was less productive than expected. The house is beautifully and comfortably appointed, and just 10 minutes from food shopping and dining. This is a nice retreat for a family to come, with plenty of space (easily 7 and possibly more in the loft). The owners seemed keenly interested in making our stay enjoyable."

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin. We had plenty of room for all of the kids both inside and out. The private beach was perfect for our small children. We loved the peacefulness of Papoose Pond with no motorized water craft and lots of wildlife to watch. We even got lucky and got to watch a river otter on a few mornings. The cabin has a canoe which was perfect to get around and see the wildlife above and below the crystal clear water. There are lots of small towns to explore and the owners recommendations for restaurants are spot on. We will definitely be back next year. A perfect place for a summer getaway."

"The house was perfect for our weekend gathering. This house is perfect for entertaining. The yard is a good size for yard games, the bar is a perfect place for a drink, it fits a lot of people comfortably, and the speakers will get the music flowing through the house. Our group all had a blast, we golfed at a nearby course and checked out some local restaurants. Joanne gave us great details on the house so we were very prepared when we arrived. We had a couple small hiccups figuring out some of the devices but that's expected in a new place with a different set up than what you're used to. Overall, we were really happy with our decision to stay here and would definitely recommend it to all who are interested."
