"We just returned from a week long vacation at this wonderful house. Its down a quiet private road and there are views of the Sebago Basin from almost every room! The basin water was warmer, calmer and even more peaceful than being on the big lake. The house has 2 sets of stairs to walk into sandy shallow water to easily enjoy the lake which was perfect for the kids (age 1, 2.5 and 5). We rented a boat for one day and were able to use the boat mooring to enjoy the lake to its fullest. The house was very clean and stocked with plenty of linens and kitchen utensils. We enjoyed a big family dinner on the dining room table on the lower level that allowed us to watch the sun start to set over our meal. It was nice to fall asleep to the lapping of the water on the shore, or hear the loons crying overnight. Sebago Lake State Park was around 20 min or so from the house and was beautiful to experience for a few hours. Seacoast Aventure Park was perfect for the kids (go-karts, mini golf), literally only 5 minutes down the road. We also highly recommend trying 'Bomb Diggity Cafe' for delicious breakfasts, lunches or pastries - we went here at least 3 times during our trip!
The owner was responsive and very easy to work with. We hope to rent this house again in the future."

"After 10 wonderful but very busy days with family in Quebec, we were very happy to change gear and enjoy the peace of this cottage. It was precisely like the photos indicated and perfect appointed. Farmington is about 10 minutes away and the local grocery store has sockeye salmon, lobsters, swordfish, etc... and we splurged !!! We passed most of our time either on the dock, enjoying the lake and tossing our 4 year old in the lake, or up on the wraparound porch chilling out in the hammocks or rocking chairs. The only things we missed, which could be easily fixed, were a life vest for a child (we bought one at Walmart) and BBQ tools. Definitely a place where we would return !"

"This house is one of the best that we've ever rented. We absolutely loved everything about this place. The owner is very accommodating. The location can't be beat, located on the end of the road with a soft sandy bottom to access the lake. The house is well stocked with every kitchen appliance and gadget you'll need. Tons of activities inside ( games & videos) and out ( kayaking, canoes, fishing, lazing in the shade by the lake). The fishing is great from a kayak or even right off the dock. It's very convenient to shopping and day trips, the sites of Portland, Mount Washington in New Hampshire is less than 2 hours away and Acadia National Park is definitely worth the drive. We would recommend staying here to anyone that wants the true North Woods experience."

Perfect for everyone, exactly what we were looking for!
"We have rented all over ME for 15 summers; this is the 1st time we will be re-renting the same place - yes, it's that wonderful. Inside, there are 2 main floors (and 1 loft bedroom), to allow everyone to spread out and have privacy in the event of rain. We were inside only for sleep, though. Outside, there is a sandy beach space, dock with bench to watch the kids/dog, canoe/kayak/paddleboat to explore the lake, and HUGE deck to enjoy morning coffee and meals. There is a large fenced yard to give a little extra privacy and area for the dog/kids to play. Oh, AND, it's close to NH outlets, if you actually wanted to go shopping (we took our nieces to Storyland and the rest of the family had a relaxing day at the house in peace :) ). Like I said, perfect for everyone. The owner's son briefly stopped by on Sunday to make sure we didn't need anything (we didn't), until we blew a fuse later that day in the kitchen - he responded to our call within 30 min and we were all set!"
