Peace and quiet watching the loons and the eagles!
"My husband and I needed a quiet retreat for five nights at the end of August, and we certainly found it here on Crescent Lake in the this cabin. How we enjoyed listening and watching the loon activity. We also saw the two adult eagles squawking and fighting over a fish they had caught, and we took a canoe ride down the lake to see their huge nest. The cabin is just what we were looking for; "campy", but having everything we required for our stay. Kitchen is very well supplied, and the gas grill on the deck was great. How we enjoyed going down to the dock at night to see the stars! This was such a relaxing stay. The fresh flowers that were put in the cabin and at the table on the deck were an extra special touch! Privacy was very much appreciated. We hope to be back again next year. It was just what we needed."

"We stayed here with our family for 5 days around peak foliage time! The views were breathtaking across the lake to the mountains and the tranquility was mesmorizing. We comfortably slept 6, plus a baby in a pack-n-play with wonderful "cabin-like" accomodations. I loved being able to walk to downtown Oquossoc and shop in the quaint stores for memorabilia!! Hiking trails are only short drives, downtown Rangeley less than 10 minutes and several "look outs" along the highway allowed for perfect foliage pictures! Thank you for a wonderful, cozy and relaxing place to stay!"

"My husband and I have stayed in this beautifully maintained house many times over the last few years. We've enjoyed weekends with our children and have even had a few family reunion vacations. Even when we've stayed with two or three other families, the house never seems crowded. Lots of space! The kids love the loft, love going on morning walks looking for the moose that sometimes makes an appearance and playing all the games at night that Carol keeps at the house. We also love the fact that although you feel like you are privately deep in the woods, it's very close to quaint gift shops, antique shops and sits right at the bottom of the mountain. My husband has gone ice fishing in winter as well! We simply love going up to Carol's house Winter or Summer!!!!"

"Our visit to Maine in September was a special treat for us Southerners. Our stay at this charming lake home was the best decision ever. Even our teenagers spent hours playing on the rocks, swimming, enjoying the beautiful lake view. The house is super comfortable with room for privacy, as well as lots of "together" time. Every night was family game night, with the board games thoughtfully provided by the homeowner. We were easily able to drive to nearby towns and attractions from our "home base." It was a perfect New England getaway!"
