  • An amazingly beautiful vacation

"We watched the Video Tour of the property and were sold-- this was the place for us! We rented both houses for our family and the accommodations were spectacular. We hiked Bald Mountain, caught fish, saw two moose in the pond and enjoyed the best vacation ever. There were row boats and canoes and a big yellow diving float to swim from and bath in the sun and the view of mountains all around. At night we sat by the water around a camp fire listening to all the night sounds. Our only complaint-- a week just wasn't long enough..."

  • GREAT PLACE FOR A COUPLE OR SMALL FAMILY

"My husband and I had a relaxing stay at this sweet rental. Cozy and warm, meticulously clean, with all the kitchen amenities you could want, air conditioned-all aspects that made for a wonderful stay. It is a small cottage with average sized beds which can be a challenge if you are a tall person. The lake is right across the street and down a hill so our lake experience was easy to get to and we enjoyed it every day. The fire pit (set in the outdoor table on the deck) was an awesome addition to enjoy the evenings outdoors. Although we had perfect weather during our week, there is cable tv and wifi for indoor entertainment. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!"

  • Bethel Four Seasons Chalet Review

"We are a group of friends that get together each year for a ski weekend, this year we chose Sunday River and Mount Abram and stayed at the Four Seasons Chalet in Bethel, the chalet served our needs perfectly. We especially liked the large dining room table, cathedral cieling in the living room and large hot tub to soothe our muscles after a day on the slopes. I highly recomend a stay here for anyone planning on skiing Sunday River or Mount Abram."

  • Dad with 2 boys, 4 wheeling and bird hunting Oct 2014

"We have been going to the Eustis area for years and am so thankful that we found this home to stay in. In the past, we have stayed at the Spill Over Motel, which was great. But there is no comparison to having your own kitchen and much more room then a motel. The place is very charming and cozy, we really loved it. My 10 year set up his wild life camera and we have video of deer in the back yard which came out around 10:00 PM. We liked it that we were on a private dirt road, away from the main road, but there were a few neighbors in sight just in case you needed something, which we didn't. The lot is nice and private. I liked the location, since I didn't want to be way out in the woods. The place is spotless; the shower is roomy with plenty of hot water. There is a 'bear' theme throughout, which my kids loved. We fished for just a few hours in Flagstaff lake and used the pier at "Pines Market" which is an easy 5 miles north of the property. My sons caught some good sized togue type fish. You can find most anything you need there at that Pines Market. We did not 4 wheel from the property as we were not familiar with trails from that location; instead we headed to the Jim Pond area, which we knew better. If I were to ski Sugarloaf, I would definitely stay here, as it is, as reported, 6.8 miles from the entrance, which translates into just 6-7 minutes as the road is very good. We saw deer at the end of the road during the early AM hours. We were provided with a crock pot & coffee maker and assorted nice dishes and other cook ware as well as a gas grill, which worked great. There is a restaurant right at the entrance to the camp's road "Choplin House"?, but we did not get to try it. It looked like there was a nice pub in there too. It would be walking distance if the weather was favorable, maybe it is 3/10ths of a mile away. For good pizza and sandwiches head north for about a mile and look for the gas station on the left that looks like they would sell other things besides gas. The camp has wood wide pine floors, tongue and grove pine walls and ceilings and looks really good. During warmer weather there is a cute porch with a little TV. I would highly recommend staying here except if you want to stay the dates I want to go next October, and then please stay at the Spill Over :-). You won’t know what you are missing so we will both be happy. I have rented about 6- 8 times through VRBO and have always had great experiences, like w/ this one."
