  • Comfortable welcoming cabin in the woods.

"We had a great ski week with our three college age sons with lots of fun making fires & playing board games. Cabin is well equipped with everything you need to be comfortable. With DHL it also kept our children "connected." Close to town and support services like snow plowing provided which insured getting to mountain to ski after a foot of snow. We really enjoyed New Year's fireworks at Sunday River. Cabin is well maintained with good heating system as well as a great fireplace with stocked woodshed. The cabin is located at the top of a steep hill (mountain road) and was a bit challenging to climb in the ice the first night but was fine for the rest of our stay. Made wonderful memories and had a nice stay at "The Cabin.""

  • Perfect vacation

"This house was great !! It was everything that was described in the listing and more. We had a great time. We could have saved a lot of time by not packing so much stuff for the trip because the house was so well equipped and clean. The lake was great , very clean water and loaded with fish. We will return again."

  • Very nice!

"Lovely, well appointed little camp. We lucked out weather wise for Labor Day week as we only had one gray, drizzly day. A 10'x10' Coleman canopy over the picnic table was handy as there is no outside shelter or screened porch so if it rains, you are either inside or out in the rain. Stone/cement pier and rocky shallows are not big boat friendly, but a canoe or small, beachable boat works fine. Nearly everyday was sunny but due to time of year, we only had a few hours of direct sunshine each day. I would definitely visit again! I would also bring a favorite sharp knife or two and my griddle for French toast, eggs, etc. Also, an axe or at least a hatchet to make tinder and kindling to compliment the terrific pile of firewood that is provided. Very nice, clean camp. I would certainly go back."

  • Great month on the lake!

"We stayed for the full month of May. Hearing the loons and kayaking with them was awesome! The cabin has everything you could need. Everyone was very friendly, including Mike & Stephanie. They are the go to couple for the cabin and provided friendly great help whenever we needed it. Even allowed me to put my kayak in on Locke Pond so I could paddle out to the beaver dams."
