  • Second year in a row!

"This place is really everything I could ask/want in my Maine lakehouse getaway. Kayaks, canoe, private beach with a fire pit. Open concept kitchen/living room. A library of books to choose from. Comfortable beds. Quiet, clean, beautiful, We absolutley loved our stay, second year in a row! I highly recommend, close enough where you can walk downtown but fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook in. Walking trails withing walking distance, beautiful lake."

  • Wonderful Cottage on the Lake

"Jeff and Joan are great hosts! The cottage is clean, comfortable and perfectly located. We walked, kayaked and visited some of the local sights. We saw lots of loons, turkeys and deer. We will be back!"

  • Great experience, year after year

"My wife and I have been staying at this condo with a few other couples for several years now. The accommodation has been great every time, and the owner has always been very responsive and easy to work with. The condo is very comfortable, and we really enjoy its close proximity to the mountain; the chair lift is only a short walk away, and the shuttle stops right next to the condo fairly frequently. We hope to continuing leasing this condo for our annual Sugarloaf trip in the years to come."

  • Very nice!

"Lovely, well appointed little camp. We lucked out weather wise for Labor Day week as we only had one gray, drizzly day. A 10'x10' Coleman canopy over the picnic table was handy as there is no outside shelter or screened porch so if it rains, you are either inside or out in the rain. Stone/cement pier and rocky shallows are not big boat friendly, but a canoe or small, beachable boat works fine. Nearly everyday was sunny but due to time of year, we only had a few hours of direct sunshine each day. I would definitely visit again! I would also bring a favorite sharp knife or two and my griddle for French toast, eggs, etc. Also, an axe or at least a hatchet to make tinder and kindling to compliment the terrific pile of firewood that is provided. Very nice, clean camp. I would certainly go back."
