  • FANTASTIC PLACE!!

"We have been renting through VRBO for over ten years. We just stayed at this property over New Years and I really cannot say enough about it! It is very spacious with many rooms to relax on the first floor. All of which are nicely decorated with plenty of comfortable furniture. The kitchen is fantastic with lots of room for people to cook and/or eat at the island and is stocked with everything you could possible need. The 5 bedrooms up stairs are set up perfectly and will work if you have a small group or a large crowd. There are two very nice full baths up stairs as well as a half bath on the firsts floor. In the finished basement there is a room with a pool table and attached to that is a large garage (with heat) that has ping pong and foosball. There is also a glassed in room with a nice big hot tub which was great! Super super clean and the owners, Sheila and Steve are great to deal with. The one and only thing I would suggest, and it is minor, is to have some kind of shades in the bedrooms. The view of the lake is fantastic and I can see why it is wide open but it would be nice to be able pull down a shade at night and to block early morning sun. Not a big problem, just a preference thing. All in all this property is by far one of the best we have rented. We would most definitely return!"

  • Breathtaking view, beautiful home!

"You can not get any closer to the water if you tried! We love the Boathouse on Long Lake and we rent it year after year! The rooms are nicely decorated. The expansive windows make you feel like you are on the water. It is a very relaxing vacation. We rent a pontoon boat and go out every evening for a sunset cruise. Just amazing! I would highly recommend this home to anyone. The pictures are accurate but do not even begin to show the beauty of this home! All ready booked for next year!!!"
