"We thoroughly enjoyed our time relaxing, entertaining guests, kayaking, sunning on the dock and listening to the loons. While most of the time we were only 2 people, we were able to invite a few friends of our daughters to join us in this spacious home. We rented a small motorboat and parked it at the dock. The lake is very clean and provided us with ample opportunities to kayak and swim. Fishing was less productive than expected. The house is beautifully and comfortably appointed, and just 10 minutes from food shopping and dining. This is a nice retreat for a family to come, with plenty of space (easily 7 and possibly more in the loft). The owners seemed keenly interested in making our stay enjoyable."

"This spacious house is set above Long Lake with lovely views of the water, in a very convenient location. One of the best parts of staying here is the view of the sunsets over the back-drop of the White Mountains in the distance! I've never seen such colors in the natural world, as I did when we were sitting peacefully on the dock watching the sun go down on a summer evening. Wow! Even our kids (12 &13) were in awe.
There was plenty for our family to do around the area: swimming, dining, arcade, ice-cream, shopping, fishing, boating, antiquing, but the best thing we found to do was to "pan" for tourmaline at a little place on Route 26 in Poland, Maine. everyone loved it!"

"We had a terrific family ski trip to Sugarloaf. The Moose Crossing Condo was perfect for our small (5) group. The condo can accommodate 8 or so. Moose Crossing was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. We had good views of the summit of Sugarloaf from the condo.
Though it was cold and windy at the beginning of our stay (100mph winds and sub zero temperatures at the summit), we enjoyed 4 days of excellent snow conditions. The shuttle and Snubber chairlift to the Base Lodge were an easy walk from the condo, so we did not use our cars for the entire stay. Some of us used the spa and enjoyed the experiences.
We definitely would rent this condo in the future. I had not skied Sugarloaf in nearly 60 years and was impressed with the many changes. Though cold, it was crystal clear, and we could see our favorite 2 mountains: Washington and Katahdin. Thanks to Jeff and Lynn for opening their Sugarloaf retreat to us."

"This was our second stay at Haley Hideaway. We had a 4 Generation get-away last year and this year my parents, my husband, 3 grown children and granddaughter enjoyed this relaxing vacation for a week. The home has everything you need. Loved kayaking on the pond. Saw lots of wildlife on our rides around town. Great shopping and friendly people. The owner Scott gets back to you on any questions you may have and is very accommodating. There is no question, we will return!"
