"We found so many ways to relax and shake the city off of us… We paddled on boards and boats, canoed kayaked and hiked without leaving the cottage. Then we also went mining, mountain climbing and found lots of reasons to eat ice cream! The cabin was beautifully appointed...simple, charming and very clean. I love to cook and the kitchen was full of utensils and dishes; pots and pans, even lobster crackers! We will be booking shortly for next summer 2015!!!"

Peace and quiet watching the loons and the eagles!
"My husband and I needed a quiet retreat for five nights at the end of August, and we certainly found it here on Crescent Lake in the this cabin. How we enjoyed listening and watching the loon activity. We also saw the two adult eagles squawking and fighting over a fish they had caught, and we took a canoe ride down the lake to see their huge nest. The cabin is just what we were looking for; "campy", but having everything we required for our stay. Kitchen is very well supplied, and the gas grill on the deck was great. How we enjoyed going down to the dock at night to see the stars! This was such a relaxing stay. The fresh flowers that were put in the cabin and at the table on the deck were an extra special touch! Privacy was very much appreciated. We hope to be back again next year. It was just what we needed."

"After a lot of searching and staying in some less than great rentals, I found this rental for my multi-generational immediate family. This house is convenient to town, Portland, and the highway, but feels set away from everything. Though houses are close-by, it feels like being part of a neighborhood in a nice way. This house is directly on a public beach, so we had the benefits of a large, kid friendly beach and kids for my only to play with. The beach was never crowded. The basin is great for kayaking, we brought our own. The house has the finishes of an nice year-round home, but in a beach location. For someone who wants the comforts of home while in a rental (cable, wifi, king beds, storage space, multiple bathrooms, plenty of space), this is the place. We booked for next summer before we even arrived back home."

"My wife and I recently rented the cottage for the week along with our two sons (10 & 12) and four of their friends. The Cottage is tucked back at the end of a private road in Sebago State Park along with only 6 other cottages. Private & quiet but not isolated.
Being right in the park was ideal. Kids had access to miles of nearby trails and a choice of 3 spots to enjoy the lake. The main state park beach was only a 5 minute walk and there are clean bathrooms, picnic tables and grills that you can use. However, the spot that everyone loved was the small beach that was literally a minute walk directly behind the cottage. The kids played beach soccer, football, floated on the inner tubes we brought and did what 12 years olds do-run around non stop. We had the beach mostly to ourselves the entire time.
The cottage itself had plenty of room for everyone to relax. Four bedrooms and a large room with comfortable cots provided the kids multiple sleeping options. Two full bathrooms/showers along with complimentary shampoo/conditioner kept the kids smelling (relatively) fresh.
In the cottage, the owners Scott and Pam thought of every detail, large and small to make for an enjoyable stay-Split firewood for the firepit, charcoal and ligher fluid for the grill, horeshoe pit, canoe, kayaks, hammock, plenty of outdoor furniture and the "little" things like new sponges, dish detergent, clothes detergent and even flashlights that the kids used on their night hikes were greatly appreciated. We particulary loved the large DVD collection. The kids watched a different movie each night and was a great way to get them to have some down time. The other highlight was our nightly "smore" making party as we relaxed and talked about the day.
The location to other towns/activiites/restaurants is excellent. We went to a nearby amusement park one day played a few rounds of mini golf another and grabbed ice cream at the Naples Causeway. We ate out a few times but cooked at the cottage the majority of the time. The nearby Umbrella Factory Supermarket(Tony C's) while small, was perfect for stocking up on supplies.
Communication with Scott and Pam was prompt and professional at every stage of the process. Extremely pleasant and helpful. Their efforts in making sure we had what we needed did not go unnoticed.
If you are looking for a true lake cottage expereince where you can spend some quality time with friends or family this is the ideal place."
