So wonderful that I almost DON'T want to tell folks about it
"We rented this beautiful, large, exceptionally stocked and maintained house on lovely Thompson Lake in Maine. It easily and comfortably accommodated our family of 10 from age 2 to 76. It strikes the perfect balance between nature, water based activities such as swimming, boating and fishing, and just plain good old fashioned relaxing in a quiet, pristine location. We loved it...and can recommend it to anyone who wants a serene getaway. The owners have made sure that guests are taken care of and even provide a binder that is filled with useful information from where to eat to how to reset the internet modem! We loved, loved, loved the place. Thanks again for a MAGNIFICENT stay."

"We just returned from a week long vacation at this wonderful house. Its down a quiet private road and there are views of the Sebago Basin from almost every room! The basin water was warmer, calmer and even more peaceful than being on the big lake. The house has 2 sets of stairs to walk into sandy shallow water to easily enjoy the lake which was perfect for the kids (age 1, 2.5 and 5). We rented a boat for one day and were able to use the boat mooring to enjoy the lake to its fullest. The house was very clean and stocked with plenty of linens and kitchen utensils. We enjoyed a big family dinner on the dining room table on the lower level that allowed us to watch the sun start to set over our meal. It was nice to fall asleep to the lapping of the water on the shore, or hear the loons crying overnight. Sebago Lake State Park was around 20 min or so from the house and was beautiful to experience for a few hours. Seacoast Aventure Park was perfect for the kids (go-karts, mini golf), literally only 5 minutes down the road. We also highly recommend trying 'Bomb Diggity Cafe' for delicious breakfasts, lunches or pastries - we went here at least 3 times during our trip!
The owner was responsive and very easy to work with. We hope to rent this house again in the future."

"This cottage was perfect in every way for our family get away. Easy swimming, incredible views, close to great hikes and walking distance to Oquossoc. The house was very clean, well appointed and has everything you need. Thanks for letting us share such a great place. Josh"

"We had an amazing time here with our five year old twins. The cottage has a cabin feel, yet the supplies (ceiling fan in every room), amenities (kayak, row boat, canoe, and life jackets), and cooking necessities (every pot and pan you could possibly need, even a lobster pot) were all amazing! Literally the owners here have thought of every little thing you could need for this place. The cabin is very clean and you feel like you are the first guests who have stayed there. The beach is perfect for swimming & kayaking. The dock is perfect for fishing and boating. We plan for this to be our go to vacation cottage every year."
