  • Such a luxurious and relaxing getaway

"The Barn House was the perfect spot for a bunch of 30-something nerds to get together for a long weekend and celebrate an upcoming wedding by cooking amazing meals, playing tabletop games, lounging in the hot tub, and enjoying a keg of excellent craft beer. Everything was just as advertised, and the kitchen was incredibly well-appointed. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to order the keg from the liquor store in town since they do delivery/installation -- we had to put in the keg ourselves, which required some quick internet research and trial & error but ultimately worked out fine."

  • Wow!

"We just returned home from this perfect cottage. All we can say is WOW! This well-equipped home had anything and everything we could possibly want. From kayaks to clean linens and slipcovers to parchment paper in the kitchen drawer! Even found a few night lights to put around so we wouldn't trip over anything in the dark! Binoculars to watch the loon and her babies swimming on the lake were hanging there for our use. Patty and Eric provide everything! We have 3 pre-teen/teen children and they were totally entertained with swimming, kayaking around, playing board games and taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. We are so glad we found you....it was a little piece of heaven :-). Thank you!!"

  • Lakeside Relaxation

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful vacation home. Whether kayaking on serine Saturday Pond, occupying a rainy day doing puzzles on the dining room table, or using it as a home base for travels up the coast, this wonderful home met and surpassed all of our expectations."

  • Very nice!

"Lovely, well appointed little camp. We lucked out weather wise for Labor Day week as we only had one gray, drizzly day. A 10'x10' Coleman canopy over the picnic table was handy as there is no outside shelter or screened porch so if it rains, you are either inside or out in the rain. Stone/cement pier and rocky shallows are not big boat friendly, but a canoe or small, beachable boat works fine. Nearly everyday was sunny but due to time of year, we only had a few hours of direct sunshine each day. I would definitely visit again! I would also bring a favorite sharp knife or two and my griddle for French toast, eggs, etc. Also, an axe or at least a hatchet to make tinder and kindling to compliment the terrific pile of firewood that is provided. Very nice, clean camp. I would certainly go back."
