  • Great place to spend a week.

"We had a great time at the farmhouse. The description is accurate and if you want to walk back in time, the farmhouse is the place to stay. It has a lot of character and was clean and comfortable. I was concerned that the proximity to highway 302 might make it a bit noisy but that was not the case. The only motors we heard was the boats on the lake. The owners were very nice to meet and very helpful getting us settled in. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants a quiet getaway and still be close to commercial needs. If my adult children are still willing, we'll be back next year. Thanks Bob & Janet for a great week."

  • summer vacation

"The accommodations were impeccable. The mobile home had all the amenities you can think of and more! It was clean, spacious and had a decent amount of privacy given that it is a camp ground. The resort had activities scheduled by the hour on a daily basis for all ages. It was a fabulous family vacation. Thanks for the great memories!"

  • Perfect, peaceful place.

"I am reluctant to leave a review of this cabin for fear others might discover one of the sweetest vacation retreats in New England! The cabin was exactly as described, the scenery serene. Whether making s'mores by the firepit steps from the lake, reading by the cabin's fireplace, swimming, sunbathing, conoeing, fishing, or just relaxing, this spot has it all. My family of four (two children 11 &12) had a wonderful time bonding, laughing together, and being "unplugged" (by choice). There are places to buy groceries and supplies, an amusement park for the kid in all of us, antique and junque shops for treasure-hunters, hiking and biking trails for the fitness-conscious, all manner of restaurants serving various cuisines, a cinema for those rainy days, and lots of home-made ice-cream stands - all within about 5-10 miles of the cabin. We were all so reluctant to return to our "normal" lives of deadlines, schedules, stress, and commuting. Once mortals have tasted ambrosia, it's hard to go back to casseroles..."

  • Amazing

"It was our first time renting a home for a family vacation. We loved loved loved it. I over packed hahaha I wasn't sure what they would have in the kitchen, well they thought of everything. The house has so much room and very clean. I went for a walk everyday. Your even walking distance from grocery stores. There's lots to do even if it rains shopping movies and lots of returants. Our kids, friends and family all had a amazing time and are deffintally renting this home again."
