"We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. The location was wonderful, away from town and at the quiet end of the lake. There is a sandy beach we walked to in addition to using the sandy beach in front of the cottage
The sandy beach in front of the cottage was perfect for the younger ones. They could use the stairs and play in the shallow water. We could sit in the furnished lawn chairs while the children safely played.
The dock was perfect for the boat we rented from Long Lake Marina. We rented a pontoon boat with tubing equipment. They delivered to the public boat launch. Everyone was very busy with tubing, kayaking and canoeing.
Mornings were very peaceful. We ate breakfast on the deck overlooking the serene water. At night we listened to the loons. A bald eagle swooped down and caught a fish right in front of us. Warblers were singing in the area at the end of the lake, near enough to walk around this area. The sunset was beautiful.
Inside we had all the amenities we needed. The internet worked great for all those who couldn't break away from their electronic devise. The kitchen was nicely furnished so we were able to prepare the limited meals we chose to serve. The fire pit was great for s'mores.
The cottage was clean and everything was in working order. The only suggestion would be for a way to rent linens and towels instead of having to carry these items on airplanes.
One day we went to Storyland in NH. Another outing was to Pie Tree Orchard for Maine maple syrup and fruit picking, but the rest of the time was spent on the lake. We did make a trip to the Gazebo for ice cream daily. Hiking and geocaching in the area were a nice change of pace for those who wanted to do something away from the water.
The owner sent emails with all necessary information, making it easy for us to know what to do and expect. The nearby property manager was friendly and unobtrusive.
Overall, this was a wonderful experience. We hope to return in the future."

"Just spend a long weekend at Sugarloaf with two other couples. We couldn't have asked for a more clean, comfortable, and nice place to stay. The full size kitchen, and gas fireplace were added bonuses. We will never rent a place off the mountain, or a single hotel room again. I won't get into the details about how amazing the surrounding area and Sugarloaf are, just that I highly recommend visiting the area and staying here."

"Lovely, well appointed little camp. We lucked out weather wise for Labor Day week as we only had one gray, drizzly day. A 10'x10' Coleman canopy over the picnic table was handy as there is no outside shelter or screened porch so if it rains, you are either inside or out in the rain. Stone/cement pier and rocky shallows are not big boat friendly, but a canoe or small, beachable boat works fine. Nearly everyday was sunny but due to time of year, we only had a few hours of direct sunshine each day.
I would definitely visit again! I would also bring a favorite sharp knife or two and my griddle for French toast, eggs, etc. Also, an axe or at least a hatchet to make tinder and kindling to compliment the terrific pile of firewood that is provided.
Very nice, clean camp. I would certainly go back."

"Our family with small kids spent a week here in July this summer and had an amazing time. The house was large and roomy with AC units upstairs in the bedrooms which was a huge help. Plenty of eating room inside and a beautiful screened in porch outside where we spent most of our time when not on the water. The kids played on the sand beach and on the dock. We were able to rent a boat and keep it on the dock for a few days and that was perfect. The owner was a wonderful sweet man who truly wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay, which we did! We hope to return next summer. His kindness was ample, the house accommodating and the location quiet and relaxing. Kezar Lake at it's finest! Thank you for helping us make wonderful memories for our children."
