"My boyfriend and I stayed here two summers ago and couldn't say more about our experience! From the location to the cabin to the friendly owners, it was all amazing! Its away from it all without being too far from town. Cabin was clean, adorable, and had everything we needed. The lake frontage was everything we could want along with a beautiful yard. We weren't able to stay last summer but have booked our trip for this summer, and couldn't be more excited! Definitely worth the price, we wont be looking at any other rentals that's for sure :-) oh and pet friendly!!!"

"We went to Call of the Loon to celebrate my 50th birthday. My one birthday request to my family of 4 (including 2 teenage daughters) was that we "unplug" for the long weekend. No electronics, including no phones, TV, or music.
Although the cottage came equipped with electronics (and a huge tv!), Call of the Loon allowed us to slow down, to sit for hours and take in the gorgeous and colorful fall leaves, the loons, the ducks, the sunrises, the stars. Call of the Loon allowed us to fully relax, read, take naps on the cozy couches, play games, sit by the outside fire as the sun set. Call of the Loon encouraged us to drink coffee on the deck in the am and wine in the pm (adults only!). Call of the Loon provided the opportunity for us to slow down, be mindful, be grateful and appreciate the present moment. BEST location for such a celebration! Thanks, Brad!"

"We all had a great time during our week stay at the "Shire"...the boating was great, the view was fantastic on the shores of Rangeley Lake, and having access to the owners canoe and kayaks was anadded plus...a highly recommended stay in the Western mountain region of Maine!"

"Lynch Lodge was the perfect setting during our time in the Rangeley area. After 24 years, I surprised my Mother with a trip to the area. I set up the visit at Lynch Lodge and have to say that it was simply perfect! It was in a quiet location, close to woods and lake, and provided us with a terrific place to stay. It was easy to find and close to so the many places we wanted to visit. We even found some distant relatives still lived in the area! Lynch Lodge was secure, homey, and so comfortable. It was a wonderful place to come back to each day to relax, make dinner, and have some of the best nights of sleep we'd had in a long time. There was a lot of information about the area that was kept in the house which was very helpful. We read through all of it! We went on several evening animal searches and using Carol's information on where to drive, and saw a total of 5 moose over our 5 day visit. It was fabulous! Thank you so much for contributing to our special Mother-Daughter weekend!"
