  • Highly recommend!

"I highly recommend this property to anyone interested in enjoying a wonderful stay next to a beautiful pond in Maine. My wife and I spent a week with our son, his wife and our grandchildren, and we all had a grand time. The cottage is charming, beautifully decorated and has all the amenities you can think of, including kayaks, a badminton net and even a foosball table (plus cable tv, wifi network, board games, puzzles and excellent mobile phone reception). Grocery stores, restaurants, etc. are a short driving distance away."

  • summer vacation

"The accommodations were impeccable. The mobile home had all the amenities you can think of and more! It was clean, spacious and had a decent amount of privacy given that it is a camp ground. The resort had activities scheduled by the hour on a daily basis for all ages. It was a fabulous family vacation. Thanks for the great memories!"

  • Great destination, Great accomodations, Great trip

"Point Sebago was everything we hoped for and more in a family vacation for myself, wife, and 8 and 5 year old. Very fun, safe, and family oriented. The accomodations on Purple Road were more than adequate for our needs and ended up being a great spot that was easy walking distance to all points at the resort yet tucked away and very quiet. The rental was very clean and had everything we needed to make a great vacation and we are already looking into our 2015 schedules to see when we can return for next year's vacation."

  • Great lake house

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. The house has been completely renovated and the grounds are immaculate. The porch is a wonderful spot for eating meals and relaxing after a day in the sun or on the water. There is a nice small sandy beach for those not inclined to dive off the dock. The house is located behind a set of small islands and thus sheltered from the wind and waves of the big open lake. This makes it very conducive to water-skiing, tubing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming due to the calmer water. On days when it was windy on the big part of the lake, it was most enjoyable in this cove."

Casco Travel Tips

Something Out of A Book: Casco Vacation Rentals

For avid readers, the town of Casco, Maine in Cumberland County may only be known as the home of famous American fiction writer Nathanial Hawthorne who wrote The Scarlet Letter. For vacationers who happen to love the beautiful natural landscapes that exist in Maine, Casco is known as a lovely town on Sebago Lake, a wonderful vacation spot, especially in the warmer months.

Sebago Lake Lodging: Options for Everyone

Some people like to vacation with lots of friends and family members. Others prefer to simply spend time away from home with their spouse, partner, or immediate family. Others still think that a vacation means being on their own for a few days in an idyllic landscape. The good news is that there are Casco vacation rentals for all sorts of vacationers. Fishing groups of all sizes can enjoy Sebago Lake lodging in Casco cottages or in larger Casco vacation rentals.

Casco Cottages: Little Homes in a Deep Forest

One of the most beautiful things about Casco is that it is home to part of Sebago Lake State Park which is a deeply forested area. Outdoors recreation and water recreation are both very popular activities in the state park. Casco vacation rentals, especially the Casco cottages, are wonderful Sebago Lake lodging options for those who want to enjoy the state park.

There are beautiful hiking and biking trails in the park that are easily accessible to those staying in Casco vacation rentals. The park also includes two public boat launches for those who plan on bringing their boat on vacation or plan to rent one for their time away. Some Sebago Lake lodging options include parking area where a boat and trailer can be stowed between adventures on the waters of the lake, which happens to be the deepest lake in the state of Maine.
