  • Perfect cottage for nearly 20 years!

"We have enjoyed this wonderful Deep Cove cottage for probably 20 years, and have never had anything but a FABULOUS experience. From the quality furniture and window treatments, to the well appointed kitchen, to the cable and Internet, to the welcome gifts, including a home-made blueberry pie and ice cream, this is a great place for a relaxing lake vacation. The location is wonderful and the views are lovely. We kayak, swim and enjoy the outdoor gas grill too. The owners are attentive but never intrusive, and they have become personal friends over the years. We used to live in Chicago, and this experience helped us to decide to move to Maine. Highly recommended."

  • LIGHTHOUSE COTTAGE IS WONDERFUL

"We saw the lighthouse cottage online, and thought it looked great. Our expectations were more than met. Renting on an island was very fun. We decided it was like being at a very friendly Camping type resort, but with great homes. This home had everything we could want. There were 5/6 adults at various times, and 2 small children, and we all had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked with anything needed, plus a huge hightop table and chairs that allowed many nights of late night game playing. The view is wonderful from the deck and the house. The owers were very nice and extremely helpful. They stopped by for a quick welcome hello and gave us many island tips. Frye Island is like a hidden treasure. The little restaurant- Fyre's Leap is a seriously delicious eat in/take out restaurant...we enjoyed anything we ordered there. The stairs at the house looked like a bit of a problem at first for our 2.5 year old granddaughter's safety- but a few well placed gates took care of that. There is something about an island that is so charming and fun, and this house added just the right amount of luxury to the fun. We would rent again in a minute when we decide on Maine."

  • Great place to get away

"Loved walking into a sparkling clean home-even the basement. It was a cold winter day and it heated up in no time and stayed cozy for the weekend. Great views and quiet. Kitchen is well-equipped. It was comfortable for our family of 5 including 3 adults a child and toddler. Would definitely rent again."

  • Outstanding week by the Lake!

"My wife and I recently rented the cottage for the week along with our two sons (10 & 12) and four of their friends. The Cottage is tucked back at the end of a private road in Sebago State Park along with only 6 other cottages. Private & quiet but not isolated. Being right in the park was ideal. Kids had access to miles of nearby trails and a choice of 3 spots to enjoy the lake. The main state park beach was only a 5 minute walk and there are clean bathrooms, picnic tables and grills that you can use. However, the spot that everyone loved was the small beach that was literally a minute walk directly behind the cottage. The kids played beach soccer, football, floated on the inner tubes we brought and did what 12 years olds do-run around non stop. We had the beach mostly to ourselves the entire time. The cottage itself had plenty of room for everyone to relax. Four bedrooms and a large room with comfortable cots provided the kids multiple sleeping options. Two full bathrooms/showers along with complimentary shampoo/conditioner kept the kids smelling (relatively) fresh. In the cottage, the owners Scott and Pam thought of every detail, large and small to make for an enjoyable stay-Split firewood for the firepit, charcoal and ligher fluid for the grill, horeshoe pit, canoe, kayaks, hammock, plenty of outdoor furniture and the "little" things like new sponges, dish detergent, clothes detergent and even flashlights that the kids used on their night hikes were greatly appreciated. We particulary loved the large DVD collection. The kids watched a different movie each night and was a great way to get them to have some down time. The other highlight was our nightly "smore" making party as we relaxed and talked about the day. The location to other towns/activiites/restaurants is excellent. We went to a nearby amusement park one day played a few rounds of mini golf another and grabbed ice cream at the Naples Causeway. We ate out a few times but cooked at the cottage the majority of the time. The nearby Umbrella Factory Supermarket(Tony C's) while small, was perfect for stocking up on supplies. Communication with Scott and Pam was prompt and professional at every stage of the process. Extremely pleasant and helpful. Their efforts in making sure we had what we needed did not go unnoticed. If you are looking for a true lake cottage expereince where you can spend some quality time with friends or family this is the ideal place."
