  • A wonderful vacation

"Thank you for the use of your home. We found it to be very comfy and clean. We did rent a golf cart, made getting around faster. This is our second year at Point Sebago and making plans for next year. We love the activities for the kids and the adults. The little ones love Chippy and his gang. The older ones love the teen center and the adventure activities. The adults enjoy the children's camp and the Tiki Bar! The grandparents enjoy all of it! The Comedy Hypnotist is a must see, to funny. Your home just made the week so much better by being so close to every thing, yet far enough away for the peace and quite. Loved the back deck for a relaxing afternoon reading spot. Again thank you. Look forward and hope to be able to return your cottage next summer."

  • Sebago summer vacation 2014

"Our family has been vacationing on Sebago lake since 1990, and we have looked at and stayed at many different properties. Over the past few years, our needs have changed and we now require a bigger place that can support 10-12 people, and a dock to support a 24 foot boat. Anytime you go to a place for the first itme, you never know how it will compare to the listing photos and information. When we arrived at this property, we were very pleasantly surprised. The photos on line actually didn't do it justice. This place was amazing. It is only a couple year's old and is well laid out ot support the 12 people we had there all week. It was very clean and well maintained. All the bedrooms were very spacious and the beds very comfortable. And the Master Suite....what a spectacular view!!. The linens and bath towels were provided which made the ladies very happy!! The main floor has a wide open design that accomdated all 12 of us for dinner and nightime games. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils you will ever need. The dock supported my 24 foot boat and jet ski. The property is located by the Dingley Islands which provided calmer waters than other places we have rented on the main lake. One amenity this palce provided that I have yet to see elswhere is the fire pit by the water. Many locations don't allow open fires. We had one going everynight. This is definitley one of the nicer places we've stayed on Sebago lake and we would highly reccomnend it to anyone. Just call the owners; they were very helpful. Just don't take our week for next year cause we're coming back. As far as nearby restaurants, our favorite by far is Bob's Seafood in Windham. We ordered lobster one night and ate there two other times. If you like beer, Braye's Brewing Company in Naples will hit the spot. If you have a boat, I highly recommend Fry Island Cafe.. their Patriot drink is the best and goes well with chips and salsa. And for desert; Mosquito's icecream can't be beat! As far as other attractions, with a place like this and an open lake in front of you, why go anywhere else!!!! We relaxed on the dock, swam, canoed, water skied, wake boarded, knee boarded, went tubing and floated around on noodles... Can't wait till next year!!!"

  • Great little hide away

"We had a GREAT time, kayaking from the dock, enjoying the porch on rainy days. Very easy to find and a great location. Swimming at the state park was heaven. Bray's brew pub was very close and very good. My husband want to go back in the fall, the foliage will be beautiful. Plus my dogs were thrilled with the place."

  • Best. Vacation. Ever.

"We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the past few years and this one is our favorite. It is the perfect size for our family of five...two bedrooms downstairs keep our young son close to us, yet the huge loft upstairs lets our teenagers have some privacy. Everything was neat and clean upon our arrival and Marie was happy to answer any questions. The house is ideally situated--close to beaches, the community center, tennis courts, and playground. The kitchen is well-equipped, the property well-maintained, and the large deck was great for playing board games and dining. For the first time ever, we got absolutely perfect weather during a family vacation--I've lived in Maine my entire life and have never seen a week so beautiful and sunny. We hate to go home!"
