"The accommodations were impeccable. The mobile home had all the amenities you can think of and more! It was clean, spacious and had a decent amount of privacy given that it is a camp ground. The resort had activities scheduled by the hour on a daily basis for all ages. It was a fabulous family vacation. Thanks for the great memories!"

  • Outstanding week by the Lake!

"My wife and I recently rented the cottage for the week along with our two sons (10 & 12) and four of their friends. The Cottage is tucked back at the end of a private road in Sebago State Park along with only 6 other cottages. Private & quiet but not isolated. Being right in the park was ideal. Kids had access to miles of nearby trails and a choice of 3 spots to enjoy the lake. The main state park beach was only a 5 minute walk and there are clean bathrooms, picnic tables and grills that you can use. However, the spot that everyone loved was the small beach that was literally a minute walk directly behind the cottage. The kids played beach soccer, football, floated on the inner tubes we brought and did what 12 years olds do-run around non stop. We had the beach mostly to ourselves the entire time. The cottage itself had plenty of room for everyone to relax. Four bedrooms and a large room with comfortable cots provided the kids multiple sleeping options. Two full bathrooms/showers along with complimentary shampoo/conditioner kept the kids smelling (relatively) fresh. In the cottage, the owners Scott and Pam thought of every detail, large and small to make for an enjoyable stay-Split firewood for the firepit, charcoal and ligher fluid for the grill, horeshoe pit, canoe, kayaks, hammock, plenty of outdoor furniture and the "little" things like new sponges, dish detergent, clothes detergent and even flashlights that the kids used on their night hikes were greatly appreciated. We particulary loved the large DVD collection. The kids watched a different movie each night and was a great way to get them to have some down time. The other highlight was our nightly "smore" making party as we relaxed and talked about the day. The location to other towns/activiites/restaurants is excellent. We went to a nearby amusement park one day played a few rounds of mini golf another and grabbed ice cream at the Naples Causeway. We ate out a few times but cooked at the cottage the majority of the time. The nearby Umbrella Factory Supermarket(Tony C's) while small, was perfect for stocking up on supplies. Communication with Scott and Pam was prompt and professional at every stage of the process. Extremely pleasant and helpful. Their efforts in making sure we had what we needed did not go unnoticed. If you are looking for a true lake cottage expereince where you can spend some quality time with friends or family this is the ideal place."

  • A great vacation experience

"Our trip to point sebago was our first vacation with our young children (ages 2 and 3). We were very impressed with everything about this cottage! Including: the cleanliness, how well stocked it was with kitchen items, the layout and amenities of this property. We had a small ant problem but the owners took care of it quite quickly! We thoroughly enjoyed this cottage and especially the resort, which provided family entertainment all day long! Highly recommend this location and cottage."

  • Family vacation

"We had a wonderful one week vacation in this log house. We consisted of my husband & myself, 4 young adult children and one infant grandchild. We swam to the float, fished, and used the 2 canoes. We enjoyed the screened in porch and eating our meals out there. The kitchen was well supplied with utensils, pots & pans, etc., but the interior of the cabinets was in total disarray. I felt compelled to organize them upon our arrival if I was going to cook meals for a whole week here. I have stayed in many other VRBO homes and I felt this house was not attended to as well compared to other homes I've rented. The house is set back from the lake in the woods and is in the shade most of the day. Several high hat lights in the cathedral ceiling were burnt out and due to the ceiling height, there was no way for us to replace them. The balance of the lighting in the house is inadequate and since the house is in a shaded location, it was rather dark. We needed to keep lights on most of the time during the day while we were in the house. More floor, table lamps, or track lighting would be a simple remedy. IT was also very dark over the sink and in the kitchen, especially at night. The waterfront dock has an eastern exposure and the sun passed overhead at about 2:00 in the afternoon, leaving the waterfront in the shade for the rest of the day. The master bed has a deep mattress on it, and if I was informed of this ahead of time, I would have brought deep cornered bottom sheets. Regular fitted bottom sheets do not stay on. The master bed was also missing a mattress cover and I was curious/suspicious whether the blankets which were piled in the closets had all been washed after the previous visitors. These two thoughts left me slightly uncomfortable. Regardless, the house was roomy and spacious and we just loved being in Maine."
