Our Highland fling
"We rented this Highland Lake house in July because we love the area and we wanted to spend some time with our grandchildren. We all had a great time. My son and his family paddled on a new paddleboard while my wife and I kayaked. When we were not on the water we were in it. The sandy beach was our hangout. The cabin was ideal. There was plenty of room for four adults and three children. We ate all our meals on the large deck and melted our smores around the fire pit on the beach. We all agreed that e would like to come back again."

"We rented this place for two weeks this summer..It had all we were looking for and more..Plenty of sleeping space for our large extended family and friends..We enjoyed barbecues, campfires and fun in the sun swimming off the dock and renting a boat for a day of tubing it was fantastic .The neighbor who owns the property next door was friendly and accommodating to our parking needs . Did not want to leave kids had a blast . Great for all ages. I must also mention the caretakers who brought us wood and came whenever we needed .Booked already for next year ."

"We had a terrific family ski trip to Sugarloaf. The Moose Crossing Condo was perfect for our small (5) group. The condo can accommodate 8 or so. Moose Crossing was clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. We had good views of the summit of Sugarloaf from the condo.
Though it was cold and windy at the beginning of our stay (100mph winds and sub zero temperatures at the summit), we enjoyed 4 days of excellent snow conditions. The shuttle and Snubber chairlift to the Base Lodge were an easy walk from the condo, so we did not use our cars for the entire stay. Some of us used the spa and enjoyed the experiences.
We definitely would rent this condo in the future. I had not skied Sugarloaf in nearly 60 years and was impressed with the many changes. Though cold, it was crystal clear, and we could see our favorite 2 mountains: Washington and Katahdin. Thanks to Jeff and Lynn for opening their Sugarloaf retreat to us."

"What a great getaway - fresh air, good leaf peeping, and an amazing home to spend a few days! The open floor plan is perfect for a group of friends or a family gathering, and makes for a great entertaining / gathering space. It definitely feels a lot larger than the square footage listed on the site. The kitchen is well-appointed, allowing us to cook our autumnal hearts away. The home is very clean, and clearly well cared for throughout the seasons.
The owner is wonderful! She's very responsive and endeavoured for us to have a great stay. Can't say enough about our pleasant interactions.
The home is right by Sunday River, making foliage hikes in the mountains as convenient as a quick ride into town for a night out. This would be a great location for ski season - hope we can come back for a winter visit!"
