  • Such a luxurious and relaxing getaway

"The Barn House was the perfect spot for a bunch of 30-something nerds to get together for a long weekend and celebrate an upcoming wedding by cooking amazing meals, playing tabletop games, lounging in the hot tub, and enjoying a keg of excellent craft beer. Everything was just as advertised, and the kitchen was incredibly well-appointed. The only thing I would do differently next time would be to order the keg from the liquor store in town since they do delivery/installation -- we had to put in the keg ourselves, which required some quick internet research and trial & error but ultimately worked out fine."

  • Excellent Abode

"Very nice, clean and comfortable. Lots of room and has everything you might need. Probably a 10 min drive to Sunday River. I was little hesitant due to owner being in another country, but it was not a problem. Kate and Chris were responded to any questions right away. I would stay here again."

  • Very impressed

"We host a trip to Sunday River every year for 6 to 8 couples and this house was the most comfortable house we have rented and best for hosting. We were thrilled to find the kitchen well equipped with modern appliances and every kitchen utensil we could need. The living room area was comfortable and had a large television, great for watching the game. The game room is fun and inviting. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. The "dorm" room on the fourth floor was more comfortable that we thought it would be. Some of the beds are around corners that offer some privacy which our guests enjoyed. The location was private but close to the mountain and restaurants. The hot tub was easy to use, and very necessary after a day on the slopes. The owners were very friendly and attentive and able to answer all of our questions in a timely fashion. I would recommend this house to a large group, or a large family with kids or teenagers."

  • Mainer

"My family and I stayed at the Bingham House for a much needed getaway. The house was great and it was exactly as described and as seen in the photos online. We very much enjoyed the spacious kitchen, where we spent a great deal of our time cooking, talking and laughing. The living room, with fireplace, was warm and inviting. It was the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine and cheese and crackers. The dining room accommodated all of us nicely and the billiards room was perfect to unwind. Although there was only one child with us, the game room had lots to keep him amused, and some of us adults also. Anyone would be happy staying at this beautiful home and it is within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The house features many amenities which we did not take advantage of but there is lots for everyone to enjoy all around. I would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend this home for anyone considering spending time in the Bethel area."

Sunday River Travel Tips

Sunday River Rentals Are Where Adventures Abound for All

Choose to visit Maine with your family vacation this year, and a trip to Sunday River is in order. Sunday River rentals are located in the midst of one of the most popular resort areas in all of New England, offering plenty of activities that all will enjoy during your stay.

Reserve Sunday River Rentals to Experience Western Maine

Warmer months will allow your family to rent canoes or kayaks and enjoy a lazy trip down the Androscoggin River. See the natural surroundings from the water, and bring your camera to catch the moose near Sunday River cottages. Tours are also available that will pick you up at your Maine lake rentals and guide you for an afternoon or entire day of fun.

Enjoy a Chairlift Ride during Your Stay in Sunday River Cottages

A great activity while staying in Sunday River rentals is to take the kids on a chairlift ride high above the mountains. The Perfect Turn Express travels up the North Peak, offering a breathtaking view of the Mahoosuc Mountains--one you simply won’t find on the ground near Sunday River cottages. For an entire day of active exploration, ride the chairlift to the top of the mountain and plan to hike one of the trails down the other side before retiring to your Maine lake rentals.

Tour Local Mines While Staying in Maine Lake Rentals

The area surrounding Sunday River rentals boasts a rich history in mining, providing a wonderful learning opportunity for visitors. Take a tour of one of the local mines and learn about how different ores and gems are found and harvested near Sunday River cottages. Stop at a gift shop and find a special memento to remember your day, and take plenty of pictures of these massive operations during your time away from Maine lake rentals.
