Loved the farm house too
"While I stayed in the Mountain House Lodge next door, I got to see the Farm House and was almost jealous that I didn't stay there. Each bedroom was more charming than the other and was treated to a wonderful ping pong match with the gracious owner Julie who I suspect let me win (just being modest). Just a great experience, fantastic views, diverse walking trails and nice access to other activities. Very relaxing."

"This house is absolutely beautiful and very clean. My family and I had such a nice and relaxing week. The kids were entertained the whole week which made it even more enjoyable for all the adults. They loved the kids room and watching movies. We sat by the fire every night or went in the hot tub. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable. The house was perfect for our group of 12. Kids enjoyed the pool at the Bethel Inn also. Great day trips included Frenchmen's Hole, Screw Auger Falls, Santa's Village, and Sunday River. Took really nice pics of my kids at the covered bridge."

"This was our second time renting the Glen House for our family of 17. It has something for everyone and then some. Since there is so much to do at the Glen House, we only left the property once to go on one of the recommended hikes to a swimming area in a river. The House has a beautiful swimming pool, play area with tree house and a bouncy house for the tots, a theater with loads of DVDs and popcorn (included), a sauna, an indoor and outdoor hot tub, pool table, chess and other games and much more. The views and sunsets are lovely from the deck, as you gather around the fire pit at night. The owners have included so many little things to make a stay comfortable such as unlimited coffee, 2 washers and dryers, plenty of towels and linens, spices and many kitchen condiments. It is a great place to relax and reunite with family or friends"

"This house was gorgeous inside and out- it had fantastic views from the floor-to-ceiling windows on the mountain facing side (including the two-story living room), and a stunning breakfast bar (likely made from a tree from the property, though I'm not sure on that one!). The rooms were all good-sized and most had their own temperature control so everyone could stay comfortable, and the three full bathrooms were useful for large groups. We had stunning views of the foliage, and I can imagine it being gorgeous in the winter or summer as well!
Our group of 9 adults was very comfortable, and I think another one or two could have stayed without anyone needing a top bunk; for families with teens or children, 13 would be comfortable.
The owner was accommodating and responsive to work with on our stay.
The only cons/things to be aware of: the walls were on the thin side so conversations carry pretty well through the house - we turned our fan on so it took a lot of noise to bother us, though! Also, 4WD is recommended in the winter but the driveway is pretty steep - those of us with manual transmissions got the trick down pretty quickly of hitting the driveway in second gear to make it up all the way, but I would drive an automatic if you can!
Overall, we had an awesome, fun stay, and thought the house was better than the wedding venue :-)"
