  • Perfect house for ski vacation

"We stayed at the ski house during Christmas week. It is super convenient to the mountain, yet private, plenty of room, beautifully appointed and fully-stocked with everything you could need. The house was neat as a pin and super comfortable. We had three teens with us and there was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved the bunk room/game room. Smart layout with skiers in mind. Can't wait to return."

  • Perfect Vacation Home for Extended Family Vacation

"We held an extended family get-together at the Bingham House and had a great time. It is a spacious and well-appointed home featuring lots of activities and amenities to keep all ages happy and occupied. Highly recommended."

  • Perfect getaway

"I brought my husband here as a surprise for his 40th birthday. His eyes POPPED when we drove up. The house is so gorgeous, smells like a cedar chest, and is so relaxing! We did a quick grocery run at the local store in Bethel (about 15 minutes away) but there was spices, coffee filters, olive oil, etc at the cabin. We enjoyed our coffees on the porch each morning and soaked in the sun in the afternoons. We ventured out a few times to eat. I would recommend pizza at "Home Slice Pizza" (VERY GOOD) and the gelato at "DiCocoa's" (If you are a vegetarian, get a little of everything to eat....no kidding. That's what I did!) Scott sent instructions for a hiking trail off of the road, but we never ended up finding it (we bushwhacked most of the time. hahaha). We took the kayaks out another day and were the only ones on the lake. There was a full moon one night and sitting on the deck, listening to the loons, with the full moon shining...pure magic. Although the point was to unplug and get away, my husband was able to watch the patriots game (although the remote didn't work, we figured it out through the tv)"

  • Comfy Bethel Cabin perfect for family ski vacation week

"We rented the Bethel Chalet this past New Year's week (Jan 2014) - the second time we've rented this cabin for a week with our family. Tucked in the Bethel woods, this cabin is very spacious for 8-11 folks and a short 15 min drive to Sunday River Mountain and three nearby x-country ski groomed trails. Very easy to come and go easily. Kitchen fully equipped to meet all our home cooking needs, play room downstairs gave the kids a place to watch movies or play fuzzball while the adults enjoyed the wood stove and outdoor hot tub under the stars, a real treat to relax muscles and warm up after a long day at the mountain. Three bedrooms, loft and basement play room gave everyone lots of space - one large family or two small families can easily share without tripping over each other. Cabin very clean when we arrived and fully supplied with towel, sheets, quilts, etc. Owner was very responsive in dealing with an unexpected power outage (that affected other houses too) and used his muscle to get Maine Power Co to get back on within a few hours. Outages rarely happen but we were impressed with his response! Absolutely no complaints. Highly recommended for families, couples, friends that want to enjoy outdoors and spend time with each other at the end of the day to just relax! Would not recommend for families with small children - during winter months - where kids are not accustomed to wood stoves and hot tubs. But if you are beyond that parenting bucket, 100% recommend."
