  • Beautiful, tranquil, and relaxing

"Modest but very comfortable and well-appointed cabin (lots of hot water, plenty of dishes and pans for cooking, excellent wifi). Within walking distance of the village. The lake is beautiful----only a handful of powerboats during the week I was there. We had our choice of small boats (kayak, rowboat, canoe, sailboat) and I took the small sailboat out every day. We saw loons every day, including a "gang" of 5 loons together. I was sad to leave! I hope we can return next season."

  • The owners thought of everything!

"We just returned from a wonderful weekend at Haley Hideaway!!!! Everyone in our party, from adults to kids, enjoyed all this property has to offer. On our first night, we huddled next to the fire pit telling stories and catching glimpses of the very faint Northern Lights over the pond. The next day, we listened to loons while sipping hot coffee on the porch. The kids entertained themselves with the air hockey table and fell asleep (finally!) watching a movie up in the loft. From the moment we walked into the home a sense of serenity and "awayness" overcame us. No detail was overlooked by the owners. From wood for the fire to gas for the grill to laundry detergent for a quick load of wash, everything was covered! Things we really appreciated: a rental manual with instructions for everything; a pass-code entry system; plenty of dishes; the wood stove (it was a chilly weekend!); how clean everything was; multiple full baths; easy access to the pond; close to town; quiet neighbors; and kid-friendly game room. We had a delightful weekend and would definitely recommend to others!"

  • Great for mutiple families

"This house was just perfect for multiple families--homey and spacious. It actually was nicer than the pictures. It had plenty of space. It was clean and had pretty much everything needed to have an enjoyable stay. It was close to many ski areas and shopping in North Conway. We enjoyed using the fire pit in the back yard. I would highly recommend this place."

  • Great lake house

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. The house has been completely renovated and the grounds are immaculate. The porch is a wonderful spot for eating meals and relaxing after a day in the sun or on the water. There is a nice small sandy beach for those not inclined to dive off the dock. The house is located behind a set of small islands and thus sheltered from the wind and waves of the big open lake. This makes it very conducive to water-skiing, tubing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming due to the calmer water. On days when it was windy on the big part of the lake, it was most enjoyable in this cove."
