  • Perfect location, everything you need, just bring your skis!

"My husband and I recently stayed at this condo with 3 friends. The location is unbeatable--literally steps from the lift and main lodge. The living room and kitchen are much larger then they appear in photos, and are fully equipped with all cooking utensils, pots, pans, etc--even coffee filters (which we forgot!). The downstairs provided an ample mud room area that made it easy to come in and take off all of our ski gear without causing a big mess, or cluttering the areas we were hanging out in. There was also a great big couch, TV, movies, games--which must be a hit for guests with families! For 5 adults, we felt that the bed space was good. I know there were a few roll-away cots, so you could likely sleep more. The fireplaces kept us warm and cozy--the only thing missing was a hot tub...but in the end the fantastic location and space can't be beat--especially for night skiing! Sophie was a pleasure to work with--easy, prompt response, and provided many details and suggestions that may be lost on others. She even provided an over-sized binder full of activities and sights to see at the condo. We look forward to coming back again."

  • Beautiful, tranquil, and relaxing

"Modest but very comfortable and well-appointed cabin (lots of hot water, plenty of dishes and pans for cooking, excellent wifi). Within walking distance of the village. The lake is beautiful----only a handful of powerboats during the week I was there. We had our choice of small boats (kayak, rowboat, canoe, sailboat) and I took the small sailboat out every day. We saw loons every day, including a "gang" of 5 loons together. I was sad to leave! I hope we can return next season."

  • Wonderful Experience in Everyway

"We really enjoyed staying at this cottage. The location was wonderful, away from town and at the quiet end of the lake. There is a sandy beach we walked to in addition to using the sandy beach in front of the cottage The sandy beach in front of the cottage was perfect for the younger ones. They could use the stairs and play in the shallow water. We could sit in the furnished lawn chairs while the children safely played. The dock was perfect for the boat we rented from Long Lake Marina. We rented a pontoon boat with tubing equipment. They delivered to the public boat launch. Everyone was very busy with tubing, kayaking and canoeing. Mornings were very peaceful. We ate breakfast on the deck overlooking the serene water. At night we listened to the loons. A bald eagle swooped down and caught a fish right in front of us. Warblers were singing in the area at the end of the lake, near enough to walk around this area. The sunset was beautiful. Inside we had all the amenities we needed. The internet worked great for all those who couldn't break away from their electronic devise. The kitchen was nicely furnished so we were able to prepare the limited meals we chose to serve. The fire pit was great for s'mores. The cottage was clean and everything was in working order. The only suggestion would be for a way to rent linens and towels instead of having to carry these items on airplanes. One day we went to Storyland in NH. Another outing was to Pie Tree Orchard for Maine maple syrup and fruit picking, but the rest of the time was spent on the lake. We did make a trip to the Gazebo for ice cream daily. Hiking and geocaching in the area were a nice change of pace for those who wanted to do something away from the water. The owner sent emails with all necessary information, making it easy for us to know what to do and expect. The nearby property manager was friendly and unobtrusive. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. We hope to return in the future."

  • FANTASTIC PLACE!!

"We have been renting through VRBO for over ten years. We just stayed at this property over New Years and I really cannot say enough about it! It is very spacious with many rooms to relax on the first floor. All of which are nicely decorated with plenty of comfortable furniture. The kitchen is fantastic with lots of room for people to cook and/or eat at the island and is stocked with everything you could possible need. The 5 bedrooms up stairs are set up perfectly and will work if you have a small group or a large crowd. There are two very nice full baths up stairs as well as a half bath on the firsts floor. In the finished basement there is a room with a pool table and attached to that is a large garage (with heat) that has ping pong and foosball. There is also a glassed in room with a nice big hot tub which was great! Super super clean and the owners, Sheila and Steve are great to deal with. The one and only thing I would suggest, and it is minor, is to have some kind of shades in the bedrooms. The view of the lake is fantastic and I can see why it is wide open but it would be nice to be able pull down a shade at night and to block early morning sun. Not a big problem, just a preference thing. All in all this property is by far one of the best we have rented. We would most definitely return!"
