  • Great Vacation!

"Wow! Great Rental!!! We recently stayed here with our two dogs and had a wonderful time! The rental is adorable and quite comfortable. The views from the bedroom and deck are amazing! We couldn't get enough. The property is immaculate and Pat couldn't be more helpful and kind. We loved sitting by the deck and looking at the water. The dogs also loved romping around the entire property! We visited Fort Popham State Historic Site and Beach with our dogs. This place was very dog friendly! We also went to the Merrymeeting Dog Park in Brunswick, Maine. After entertaining our dogs for the week, the humans spent an evening in Portland, which was about a 40 minute drive from the rental. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental for others!"

  • Very enjoyable stay! Definitely returning!

"The owner Margaret is a delight! Such a sweet woman and has a wonderful knack for making you feel right at home. This is a nice, quaint, Maine down home, vacation spot. Clean and cozy. ( If you are looking for the Marriott - go to Portland or Bar Harbor and leave this spot for us Mainers ;-) ) This is where you shut off your cell phone and enjoy nature and peace. Although there is wifi, tv, phone - who needs it!? This is what we were trying to get away from... Lucy, the house dog is great, she got along super with our two doxies and they had a grand time together. Just a comfy place to get away and relax and read your books, go sailing, walk the beach or watch the tide go in and out. Thanks Beth and Margaret, we shall be back! Mike & Mo and "The boys"."

  • Perfect Cottage Hideaway

"This charmer outdid all our hopes and expectations! First the basics: everything was clean, everything worked, and all the supplies/furnishings/appliances we might have needed were right where we needed them. Now, the extras: Inside is charming and comfortable with muted colors, lovely wall hangings, cozy places to relax. We found lots of books, DVDs and games on the shelves. Bird watchers won't want to miss this gem - the feeders outside the dining room window are always busy. The landscaping combined with privacy fencing lets you feel like you've gotten away from it all. A private yard is a safe place for little ones and the picnic table and grill make outside dining a cinch. We were close to the beach, the marshes, boating, and daily walks to bagel shops and a chowder house. What could be better?"

  • Wonderful Cape Elizabeth Getaway

"Our family of 7 (ages 19-81) had a wonderful week at this sunny, accessible home within walking distance of the far end of Crescent Beach and also Kettle Cove park. Also easy to walk up to the Kettle Cove Creamery for either breakfast or ice-cream! House was clean, cozy and sunny (downstairs is a bit dark and needed humidifier throughout our visit). Owner very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We very much enjoyed our visit to the area - easy to get to Downtown Portland (18 mins.) We would come back here!"
