  • Judy from upstate New York

"My family and our dogs left yesterday after a two week stay that was great. This is a very nice waterfront property with a beautiful view and a nice dock. The setting is quiet and private. The interior finishes are outstanding and we were very comfortable. I have rebooked for next year and after enjoying many other rentals in Maine, this is the first time I have rebooked the same property. The kitchen is very well stocked, I found a French knife and a garlic press, both unusual pieces of equipment. Also made a really good deep dish apple pie with the Bundt pan. It is obvious that Karen and John take very good care to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests."

  • We couldn't have wished for anything better!

"Beautiful view onto the water from all sides of the house's expansive windows. Lovely and well-maintained house with deck on 2 sides and dock in the back. Very comfortable beds, woke up every morning to a breathtaking scene of the ocean. About 15 minutes to Brunswick and shopping, and 25 minutes to public beach. Lots of nature preserves in the area, Portland about 30 minutes driving distance. Ideal! Thank you so much, Amy and Dan, for a trip we will never forget!"

  • This was our first time in Maine

"The Ocean House is right on the water with great views. It is on an a very quite road with a lot nature in the area. The kids loved the open space around the house and going to the tide pools at low tide. We enjoyed the fire place each night and the fire pit by the water. The wrap around porch was great. The location was convenient to a lot of places to see in that area of Maine, 20 to 30 minutes to a lot of sights. Thank you Doug!"

  • Perfect Maine Retreat

"Three of us stayed in this idyllic Brunswick cottage in August. The location couldn't be better, at the end of a little-traveled road and right on the water. We were close to Brunswick, Freeport and Portland and all they have to offer and yet, it was so completely peaceful that we heard only the tidal water and the birds. The cottage is very comfortable and attractive, and though the kitchen is small, we were able to make most of our dinners at home and enjoy them while watching the sun go down. The hosts are beyond nice, though very careful about the tenants' privacy. I'd very much like to return."
