"The house was much nicer than expected...not a cottage but a beautiful, year- round home with 3 BR, 2 1/2 BA, beautifully appointed with gorgeous artwork and furniture. Gardens galore with impeccable landscaping right down the water to the most serene setting with hammocks, chairs, fire pit...perfect spot. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation in paradise, this is for you. Bring your camera! Lilliana is an AWESOME lady, who was so friendly and accommodating. Couldn't ask for more! Will recommend this to friends, for sure...also, close drive to the LL Bean and other great stores for a little retail therapy! 😊"

"My mom, kids and grandkids ( ages 6-86) spent an enjoyable weekend while in Portland for my daughters destination wedding Our schedules were hectic so enjoying meals together was valuable. 10 of us but never crowded! There was a homey feel that allowed each the privacy to do their own thing. The beach was a few steps away and a local coffee shop bakery became a morning walk for some TVs with DVD players also offered time for a separation of age aporopriate fun.
The grounds are spacious with trees out most windows giving that woodsy get away feel. So many windows kept breezes flowing. It was September 18-21. Ping pong won out over pool table and so many board games ! A welcome book had terrific recommendations for food and fun places Shopping is minutes away. Our wedding in downtown Portland was easily accessed with traffic only on the few main streets of tourist shops
The owner was very professional yet personable too and gave immediate response I do recommend taking the typical big beach towels since it is beautiful and just outside your back yard and not a standard household item
We all look forward to returning but this time it will be a full week"

"Let me begin by saying we arrived at the cottage in the later evening. All was dark and quiet. The cottage was clean and welcoming with fresh flowers. The next morning we were wowed by the incredible view! We were amazed at how quiet and peaceful this place was! We sat out on the dock with an evening glass of wine enjoying the view and the cool breeze. The neighborhood around was beautiful! This was in a perfect location for traveling around the coastal area. Stephanie was great! I would highly recommend!"

"This cottage is in a scenic, peaceful area so perfect if you want to get away from it all and still be on the waterfront. Please make sure you are OK with an inflatable bed. I must've overlooked that in the property description. While it was comfy enough for a night or two, I wouldn't recommend it for a week-long vacation OR if one or both of you are on the burly side. Most all amenities are there you'd need and firepit, grill a nice addition. Minor cons were the shampoo ran out our last day, the handtowel ring fell off the wall & the hair dryer was coated in some sticky goo I couldn't wash off. I used a washcloth around the handle to get around that. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots n pans etc. Groceries, wine, & restaurants nearby."
