  • A wonderful week on Winding Way

"My three generation family just returned from a wonderful week on Peaks Island at this beautiful, comfortable home. It's a private, quiet space that has room for some to sit and read quietly on the deck while bird watching and for some to kick a soccer ball around on the open grounds. We biked and walked everywhere from the beach to the tennis courts. Jean and Ralph are wonderful hosts who are helpful when needed. My grandchildren call it our summer stay house, and we can't wait to return."

  • the description of the home was accurate

"We rented the house for our daughter's graduation weekend and it suited that purpose very well. We cooked as necessary, hung out and relaxed, slept well, enjoyed the wonderful views, went for runs... It is not a luxurious home, but it is a comfortable place to escape to. Given the #s the house can potentially sleep, the fact that there is only one bathroom with a tub/shower is challenging, but it's workable."

  • Very comfortable and welcoming

"We rented this lovely home for my daughter's graduation. There were 8 of us total and everyone was quite comfortable even in the kitchen. The homeowner was extremely helpful and information not only regarding her home, but the surrounding area. This charming home was bright, cheerful and private. Each morning, the natural sun light filled this space. The only thing it was lacking for me was to be on the water, but it's location was private and scenic. The surrounding areas in Cape Elizabeth were breath taking and a pleasure to explore. I would recommend this home"

  • Can't wait to come back!

"Our family of six had a fabulous time at this lovely cottage. The location of the cottage was private and the views were spectacular. The house is sturdy and spacious. We could not have asked for more. The fellas hit golf balls into the bay at low tide and the rest of us had a blast looking for them before the water came in. We made day excursions to Georgetown Pottery and Popham Beach and fort (so special!) -- but mostly we loved to sit on the porch or in the comfortable adirondack chairs on the grass, and talk and laugh. We liked Frank enormously -- he was available to answer questions anytime but never hovered. We recommend this cottage without reservation -- you can't find a nicer place in Maine. I am going to hear the waves lapping in the shore of my dreams all year."
