  • Week away... Long Island Maine

"We had a lovely time on Long Island in this home! The house is very nice, in a shady area, close to everything. The ice cream/sandwich shop, the dock/ferry landing, the community center, Fowler's Beach, South Beach, herb/veggie farm stand, gift shop, yoga studio, the general store, etc. We hitched a ride up with hill with Chub's Blue Bus, and rented a golf cart later in the week. VERY FUN! The house slept us comfortably, we cooked out each night, made s'mores in the fire pit, biked all around, etc. Next time we hope for two weeks on Long Island."

  • Perfect place to relax

"We just got back from staying at this rental and it was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. It was clean with plenty of space inside and out. It has a back deck where we enjoyed our coffee each morning while looking out over the beautiful flowers and trees. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a great place to kick back and relax. Thanks Jenny, we had a GREAT time!"

  • Yearly Girls' Getaway!

"This home accommodated six female, life-long friends who get together once a year in a different location in the country. The proximity to the airport was very important since everyone flying in involved traveling from five different states across the US and warranted several trips back and forth to the airport. It is conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and the areas we planned to visit. We wanted a true feel of a home that represented Maine and this home did exactly that. There are more than enough areas within the home to sit and enjoy conversation comfortably. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the beach as much as we intended because we were busy doing other things, but waking up each morning to the sounds and views of the ocean from every room in the house was lovely. If pressed to find something critical to say, the only thing I can come up with was we needed more kitchen garbage bags and in the big picture, that’s not a big deal. I understand the owner was very helpful in assisting a couple of the ladies when their flights were cancelled and they needed to stay an extra day. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants the convenience, comfort, and flavor of a vacation home in Maine located steps away from the ocean."

  • A Wonderful place to spend a 50th Anniversary Celebration!

"We rented this home for a week long celebration of my brother's 50th anniversary. It could not have been more perfect! At any given time there were 15-20 of us at the home and yet we never lacked privacy! The location was picture perfect and the home itself provided all of the comforts that we were looking for! It was very well stocked in the kitchen especially and had more than enough staples that one should really check out the inventory before you go shopping! I know one review mentioned that the house seemed worn...yes it is lived in but certainly not run down...This is a New England home on the water so yes it is not pristine....but if you are looking for a relaxing vacation this is the place for you! The beds were comfortable and having individual bathrooms was a joy in itself! The caretaker Mark was very accessible and stopped by several times throughout the week to check on us! He was also gracious enough to recommend a local caterer that helped us to plan a memorable anniversary celebration at The Brunswick Inn in nearby Brunswick...Check out the review on Trip Advisor! Overall the week could not have been more perfect...the setting, the house, the weather and the company! Thank you for sharing this incredible house with us! It was a vacation that we will never forget!"
