"Just stayed here for my 30th birthday with close family and friends, spent one night staying in at the house and the other night going out to Portland. Property was beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and clean. It looks exactly like the photos :) I had so much fun cooking here as it had my dream kitchen! There were some drawbacks - shades did not adequately block out light making it difficult to sleep in and walls are pretty thin (i.e. you could hear everything). Despite this, I would definitely recommend staying here and everyone is already talking about going back!"

"I stayed here for originally 4 nights, but extended my stay a night and I absolutely loved it. It had everything I needed for a get away with my dog. The owners were so nice and helpful and give me pointers for everything from a dog friendly beach to the best restaurants. I loved that my dogs size did not matter (German Shepherd) and it had a private little yard with a hammock. The pull out couch into a bed was so comfortable, it never felt like a pull out couch. The pictures do not do the view justice, it was spectacular! I would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone."

"The very best part of this apartment is it's location. It affords easy access to several great restaurants, funky cafes, delicatessens and coffee shops. Downtown Congress Street with it's museums, more restaurants, shops and weekly farmer's market is but a block away. Merrill and Cumberland County auditoriums as well as the Old Port are also reasonably walkable (although the walk home in very cold or very hot weather would take some effort as it is uphill all the way!). We also found the neighborhood easy to walk - many of these past fabulous old homes and gardens. The owner and neighbors were friendly and helpful. The sitting area of the apartment is quite small but the photos are accurate and complete, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and everything was in good working order and very clean. We spent two weeks in the summer, so found the washer and dryer in the apartment to be especially welcome. We would eagerly recommend this second floor apartment to anyone who is comfortable with stairs."

"This authentic historic home is a perfect place for family and friends to gather. It offers one of the most private cottages on the island! The cottage takes you back in time. The one missing element is a golf cart. Although everything is within walking distance...it is cumbersome for lugging supplies, etc."
