"Stayed here (6 people) for a small vacation and loved it. Near beach (10 min walk), delicious bakery (5 min walk), ice cream place. Not a brand new house but lots of room, clean and "homey", with a nice backyard (great for cook outs). Really affordable price well worth the privacy one would not get from a hotel. Owner is very reasonable and promptly responds to any messages. We would stay here again."

"We stayed in this beautiful house in late Summer for one week with our children and our 4 year old grandson. Great oceanfront house, very clean, a lot of dishes, glasses, pots and pans. Walking distance to the convenience store. Sitting on a huge lot this house can accommodate a large family or a large group of friends with its 4 bedrooms upstairs and a very large master bedroom with full bath on the ground floor. You can play soccer on the front lawn then walk to the beach via the private path. Great place to stay and excellent location."

"Arrived here at the end of a short, scenic drive out from the Portland, Maine Jetport. I was greeted by the owners to an awesome marine panorama with views, from atop a embankment just feet from the high tide line, east across the sound to Harpswell and looking southward. The unit itself tends toward pleasant rustic and includes a kitchenette with fridge, two large bedrooms, a bath and a wonderful glassed-in sitting room. A cable TV was available, but I don't do TV, and a small propane heater was not needed in the warm July weather. A short drive takes you to the town of Brunswick, which has numerous stores and restaurants, and also accesses coastal route 1 - the main gateway to the beautiful Maine coast both north and south. The sound of the seabirds and the tidal flows lulled me to sleep and greeted me each morning. Finally, watching the private fireworks on the far side of Harpswell Sound the evening of the Fourth was a treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone."

"My husband and I spent a week in August here and absolutely loved it. The house is as bright, immaculate, and beautifully decorated as in the pictures, and the views really are that good. The neighborhood is very walkable and charming and the neighbors are friendly. We rented kayaks for the week from someone just down the street and were able to beach them in the cove at the end of the neighborhood, about a 5 minute walk from the house-- very convenient. We bought some art from another neighbor who has a stunning studio in her home.
The only caveat is that the water is not drinkable and you must bring your own-- they provided a gallon which for us was not enough but we didn't re-stock early enough so go ahead and bring more than you think you need! Also, if you are a person who wants long showers or baths, this is not the place for you. Only a stand-up shower that isn't designed to run for a long period of time (water well).
Our hosts were helpful, responsive, and hospitable. They even shared some of their fresh-caught Maine lobsters and showed us how to prepare them! This was one of our best vacations and we hope to return."
