  • Wonderful house in the best location!

"If you're debating on what house to rent in Maine...stop, this is it. We were 6 adults on vacation from NYC and this fit our needs perfectly. The house is huge! and has everything you could hope for. The porches alone are worth the stay, but you can also grab the deck chairs and sit by the ocean which is right there!!! We loved the back patio with the big picnic table with a grill. I have nothing but good things to say about this place and Jane who was lovely to work with and answered all my questions. Bailey island is so cute and quaint and if you do stay here I recommend all things baked from the Salt Cod Cafe which is just 3 min down the road. A blueberry muffin with butter and a cup of coffee sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean is euphoric."

  • A wonderful week on Winding Way

"My three generation family just returned from a wonderful week on Peaks Island at this beautiful, comfortable home. It's a private, quiet space that has room for some to sit and read quietly on the deck while bird watching and for some to kick a soccer ball around on the open grounds. We biked and walked everywhere from the beach to the tennis courts. Jean and Ralph are wonderful hosts who are helpful when needed. My grandchildren call it our summer stay house, and we can't wait to return."

  • Wonderful week at Orr's Island

"Our family of 9, inclusive of 3 seniors,2 young children and 4 thirty something adults absolutely loved our time at this beautiful home. It is a lovely house with outstanding craftsmanship with places to gather or escape whatever your pleasure. The grounds were spacious with outstanding views of the Casco Bay, many fun hours of climbing the rocks by the water. We cooked all of our meals once we figured out the stove and oven, there were ample dishes, pots and pans, silver and glassware. our favorite day trips were sailing from Baileys Island, Popham beach at low tide, shopping at Freeport, and hiking the Giant stairs on Baileys Island. The house itself was super comfortable. A fun time had by all."

  • Amazing!

"I just got back from my stay this morning and wanted to make sure to write a review because I was so pleased! I stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my upcoming wedding with some friends, and I can't say enough great things about the house and property. The house is breathtaking, everything was as promised and I couldn't have asked for a better getaway. The owner Frank is very accommodating and a delight!"
