  • Charming Cottage for Relaxing by the Water

"We had a wonderful two weeks in Louise’s charming cottage. Beautifully decorated, it has a warm and welcoming feel with plenty of room to spread out for reading or board games (provided). The house offers all the amenities, including good Wi-Fi, and has water views from every room. The three bedrooms upstairs are especially comfortable. My husband preferred reading on the deck overlooking the water, and I loved being to walk from the house down to the water for a swim. It’s location is next to the charming Auburn Colony and a short walk from Potts Point and its lobster pound. The location also offers opportunities for walks, and it is an easy drive to kayak/canoe rentals, restaurants, Brunswick, Popham Beach, and Freeport."

  • Peace & Quiet

"Ahhhh! If I could only still be there, Lifes craziness is forgoten when your on the micro farm. Mark even fresh roasted coffee for us to sample and enjoy, The bird life & songs were so soothing. Lots of Cardinals & ravens what a mix. The tranquility of pond and fire pit were enjoyed regularly for a get away from the bustle of grandkids & visitors. Island life warms & nourishes the soul, this how we should all be! Calm & Warm. The gardens were enjoyable too, with lots of unfamiliar, & exotic plants. Mark went above & beyond to make our stay so enjoyable, the kitchen was spacious, well equipped & great for a crowd."

  • Treasured memories

"This authentic historic home is a perfect place for family and friends to gather. It offers one of the most private cottages on the island! The cottage takes you back in time. The one missing element is a golf cart. Although everything is within walking distance...it is cumbersome for lugging supplies, etc."

  • Perfect Maine Island Getaway!

"We had the good fortune to spend some time on Lower Goose Island in this magical cottage complete with it's own dock, coastline and hand built hiking trails criss-crossing the island. The owners/hosts went out of their way to welcome us and make sure we had everything we wanted and needed to make our vacation over the top enjoyable. We kayaked along the shore and around the Gosling Islands just off of Lower Goose; we went lobstering and learned first hand what hard work it is, but also how fun it is; we even borrowed water skis (on site) and had our kids experience the first time joy of this sport. The cottage is a true work of art and hand craftsmanship. It is beautiful, with lots of extra details that were thought out (old restored doors, exposed beams that were recycled from previous projects) and it has all the amenities that you need: refridgerator, gas stove/over, gas BBQ grill, hot + cold running water and a fully stocked kitchen with any cooking tool you need. It sleeps 6-7 comfortably in 3 twins, 1 queen and 1 full bed. The views from the dining room table, living room and downstairs bedroom are out of this world. I would highly recommend a stay if you are looking for a fun family adventure, want plenty of activities to do, but also want a quiet place to decompress and read a good book!! We will undoubtedly be back next summer for a longer stay!"
