"We were looking for a place with enough space for teenagers to spread out, to cook and grill for ourselves, close to the beach and other adventures. This was just the place for us! We had perfect weather for as many beach days as we wanted, plus it was a central location to explore many of the other activities Maine has to offer. The house was in great condition, the local hosts were very helpful, and we completely recommend this property."

"This was one of our best vacations ever. The cabin which was right on the lake was so cozy, very clean and had all the comforts of home. Our cell phones worked wonderful here also. We went in the fall and had the lake to ourselves. If you want a quiet getaway this time of year this is your place. It was a little colder than we thought it would be, snow flurries and all but the little heater in the cabin kept us warm and toasty. I brought my kayak, which my husband told me was a crazy thing to do this time of year, but I managed to bundle up and get out on the lake for the afternoon. Just so peaceful!! Just what the doctor ordered. We cooked a lobster dinner the first night and ate out at Krista's for dinner the next night. Krista's in Cornish is to die for, great atmosphere and great food. Make sure to call ahead for reservations if you want a table, very busy place, so we sat at the bar. If we lived here this would be our favorite restaurant. We want to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the lake a little more, go swimming, boating, sit out on the dock. We will be back and thank you Kim for letting us enjoy your little cabin"

"I cannot think of a better getaway! Blessed with great weather at the end of October, being beachfront is still the very best. We traveled to Maine, just to walk, catch up, talk, and alternate light cooking with dining out. We were delighted to find enough sun to sit on the expansive deck a bit. The best part about this quiet end of Goose Rocks Beach is the massive tide, which provides beautiful long walks adjacent to Timber Island, which itself is worth a visit, not just to see the house from another angle! Bruce, the owner, was a delight to deal with, and besides the incredible location, the house was fresh, expansive, and had everything for a perfect stay. I really appreciated, the all inclusive price, and that the linens were provided, just arrive with food and wine, and chill! We were lucky to get one last cocktail at the Tides and a meal at Earth before they closed for the season. The Wayfarer, in Cape Porpoise, is a great stop for any meal the rest of the year. We will be back, if we can find a spot!"

"Perfect home in a perfect location. Home was very clean and had all amenities for staying an extended period of time. Less than .5 mile walk to Short Sands Beach and York Beach area restaurants and shopping. Very dog friendly area. We look forward to staying again at the Irish Mist."
