Started New Year, celebrated Anniversary in Kennebunkport.
"Pat and I , as well as our Labrador Sofie, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Relaxing view of tidal marsh, frozen over, and evening walk on Goose Rocks. House was just right, and roomy for guests, which we might try another time. Usually we stay closer to Dock Square, but had no trouble getting around and enjoying the snowless New Year. We were right on one of the access roads to Goose Rocks and could imagine walking to the beach from the house, if it were a bit warmer. As it was parking was not an issue. We always like one breakfast at the Maine Diner in Wells, a walk at the Rachel Carson Reserve on Rt. 9, and a special treat this time was dinner at White Barn Inn, which lives up to its reputation. Directions for leaving were easy to follow and not a burden. Many thanks! We hope to visit again...."

"Perfect house for a family. Close to the beach, only a five minutes walk, great amenities, plenty of space for a family of 8. We have very much enjoyed our week at Gooch Beach and we highly recommend this house as it offers everything a family needs in a house away from home. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood which is very pleasant for strolls."

"My husband and I were lucky to spend three weeks in August at this lovely spartan New England farmhouse which had been beautifully restored. It was light and airy throughout the day as the fresh Maine air would come through the open windows. Our two daughters spent a few weekends there along with an elderly family member.
The only negative aspect that I would like to point out is that the guest bathroom is on the first floor and the guest bedrooms are on the second floor. This makes it quite difficult for seniors to walk down the stairs during the night. This is not clear in the house description.
Aside from that, we were very happy with our stay there. We spent the time exploring all of the suggested towns and restaurants along the coast. Our favorite restaurant was Earth at Hidden Pond."
