  • Stress free vacation!!!

"The owners have thought of everything to make staying at Seagulls Nest easy as can be. The house was very clean and well cared for. It's on a quiet street just minutes away from beaches, shops and the zoo by foot and tons of places to visit are just a short drive in the car. Our group of 7 ranged between the ages of 8 and 66. There was plenty of room inside and outside for everyone to comfortably spread out. The local Hannafords grocery store is 15 minutes away and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies. We prepared most meals at the house - much better and less expensive than eating every meal out. It was a perfect spot to vacation!!!"

  • Cozy, clean, very affordable, responsive owner

"We stayed at the Sands in Fall 2010 and had a wonderful week of beach walking and exploring the area. Location is perfect and the townhouse was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was exceptionally responsive when we were booking, whenever we had a question, and when we had a minor problem with internet connection. And we loved being able to bring our dog. We would recommend the property especially to couples, families with small children, and families with one older child. It might be a little small for families with more than one older child."

  • Sweetest Little House in Maine

"This charming little house is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Maine. Close to Kennebunkport/Kennebunk and all they have to offer, but away from the crush of the tourists when you need a break. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill outdoors, should you feel like cooking, but is walking distance to Nunan's Lobster Hut (wicked lobster rolls and delicious blueberry pie!) and Cape Porpoise Kitchen, for when you don't. The rest of the house is cozy and built for lounging and the beds are more comfortable than one would expect for a rental property - sleep with the windows open and snuggle under the covers for the best nights sleep! For a real treat, walk to the Cape Porpoise Kitchen for coffee and breakfast then take a walk to the Cape Porpoise pier. Sit on one of the benches and take in the view of the lobster boats and the Goat Island lighthouse. Don't miss the Chowder House, with their delicious fish chowder and fried seafood. We will definitely be back to this little house, and next time, we're staying longer!"
