Perfect Anniversary Getaway
"What can I possibly say besides the fact that this house was PARADISE! I was planning a week vacation and stumbled upon this listing. Although, it was a 3 bedroom, something about this house was standing out. This place is a hidden gem and we will be returning. Bruce, I have no words, he was the best...helping with everything and made this trip fantastic. He gave me his cell phone number and I abused it. LOL I called him for recommendations and he couldn't have been more helpful and courteous. He said all you need is a suitcase and food and he meant it. Everything you could possibly need is here. Thank you so much!!! Sincerely, Shannon & Jason from RI."

"The place is super cute and walking distance from the beach. I was there with my husband, 19 and 21 one year old daughters and our little dog. Plenty of space and we took pleasant walks to the beach every day, multiple times. The drive to downtown Kennebunkport, to me was sort of far.
The house/the rental really really needs work. The interior was fine. Bathroom and kitchen need work but they were fine, but the patio and furniture are in what I would call horrible shape.
The clean up list is honestly not so bad, it is really just basic cleaning up after yourself.
My biggest complaint, besides the upkeep of the patio was there was not enough toilet paper or paper towels and we had to buy some. I don't care about the cost of this, is was not so expensive, but we shouldn't of had to buy toilet paper and I called the owner about it and he did not even return my call. I noticed a FOR SALE sign outside and I saw on line that there is a sale pending, so maybe he doesn't care anymore, I don't know, all of my other needs, emails and calls were met with kindness and concern.
Overall, if you read the reviews which you are and you know what to expect, you're fine! This is cute, welcoming beach house. GOOD RENTAL!"

"That is exactly how I feel when I come for a visit at Rick's Haven. I rented this adorable spot from Sept-Dec 2014. The unit is clean, comfortable and offers all of the conveniences of home. Pour yourself a cup of coffee or glass of wine and take in the stunning marsh view at dawn or dusk. The owner's dock offers kayak/canoe access to the marsh. Steps away from the pristine Goose Rocks Beach and minutes drive to the port and Cape Porpoise Lighthouse. Portland is an easy 40 minute drive. I am just home from a recent visit and can not wait to return. The owners are wonderful and hospitable people who have become much like family! Great spot for couples, families and dog owners."

"My family enjoyed a wonderful stay last summer at this beautiful house. Our hosts were very kind and helpful with all arrangements, helping to make our stay stress free and very relaxing. The house is beautifully kept, and reflects in so many little ways and details the obvious love that the home owners have for their summer home. My family includes youngsters from several generations, and we were able to accommodate all needs and cares while sleeping peacefully and comfortably, and enjoying many meals, walks and cuddles all together. Highly recommended rental - except of course any weeks when we wish to return!!!"
