  • Extraordinary...

"The most amazing home... the Stonehouse sits on top of the Atlantic with breathtaking views out of every window. The quality of the construction of the home, the design, details and amenities are second to none. The landscaping is impeccable. The owners are incredibly attentive and responsive but never intrusive. A truly spectacular home which exceeded all of our expectations."

  • A Little Slice of Heaven

"Though we have visited Kennebunkport before, this was our first time at Goose Rocks. We must say that this home was an exceptional find. It was like having a home away from home only this one has a waterfront view that is spectacular. It is very well maintained and the owner was only a phone call away to answer any questions we had. This home is close enough to Dock Square that we ventured there several times during our week long visit. Though we did eat quite a few of our meals in, we enjoyed several of the local restaurants as well. We will absolutely rent this property again! Loved, loved, loved this home!"

  • Sweetest Little House in Maine

"This charming little house is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Maine. Close to Kennebunkport/Kennebunk and all they have to offer, but away from the crush of the tourists when you need a break. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill outdoors, should you feel like cooking, but is walking distance to Nunan's Lobster Hut (wicked lobster rolls and delicious blueberry pie!) and Cape Porpoise Kitchen, for when you don't. The rest of the house is cozy and built for lounging and the beds are more comfortable than one would expect for a rental property - sleep with the windows open and snuggle under the covers for the best nights sleep! For a real treat, walk to the Cape Porpoise Kitchen for coffee and breakfast then take a walk to the Cape Porpoise pier. Sit on one of the benches and take in the view of the lobster boats and the Goat Island lighthouse. Don't miss the Chowder House, with their delicious fish chowder and fried seafood. We will definitely be back to this little house, and next time, we're staying longer!"

  • Great Home for Large Group

"I visited KB in 2013 for the first time and fell in love with it. So I convinced my friends to spend a week in a rental house this summer. Since we are four couples, it was a bit difficult to find the perfect house with the right kind of bedrooms...as most houses are set up for families with twin/bunk beds in some of the bedrooms. Well this house was perfect for us. Like other reviewers, the house just went on and on and was well appointed. It was great that each couple had large bedrooms and we all had our own bathroom too. There were so many places to hang out that we couldn't decide which was best. The kitchen had just about everything we needed, though we cooked only breakfast at home. We took advantage of the fabulous restaurants in KB and the surrounding area and didn't have a bad meal anywhere. Rhumbline was perfect for our first night, especially since it was just a short walk. Enjoyed the casual and lively vibe. Great bartender and simple food. Abbondante and Dinner on the Marsh were fantastic all around--food and atmosphere. I just wanted to move into Earth at Hidden Pond. What an unusual and special place. It would have been interesting to dine in one of the outdoor 'rooms' but it was a bit too chilly for that. In Perkins Cove we stumbled on That Place because everything else was packed with long waits. This is a little outside of PC but should be packed because the food is wonderful. Our last dinner at Ogonquit Lobster Pound was very Maine-like and just the lobster I wanted for my last one of my stay. Oh, and Portland is a great town for a side trip, not too far and oh-so-interesting. The Corner Room exceeded our expectations for lunch. The meal went on and on and I almost felt like I was back in Italy. We also rented a boat for a morning...highly recommend that for a drive up and down the nearby coast. Everything looks different from the water! And, Dale was a pleasure to work with. She offered lots of suggestions for things to do in the area, which we definitely followed. If not for her, we would have missed fantastic fireworks right from the front deck. Wish we could have spent more time kayaking on the creek just a short walk away, but there was so much else to do!"
