Great house for extended family stay near the beach
"We had a family holiday get together at the goose rocks beach house. It's a lovely house, tastefully decorated and well cared for. Plenty of room and privacy for our clan. Kids love the upstairs bunk bed room for sleeping and playing. Spacious open kitchen great for preparing big family meals. Close walk to the beach. I'm sure it's fantastic in the summer. Can't wait to do it again next year!"

"My company rented the house for a corporate retreat. It was perfect for the needs of our 5 Directors. The rooms were very comfortable and we were able to do our work around the large dining room table. The comfortable surroundings allowed us to make great progress in our yearly strategic planning. It was a cold week, but unlike a lot of small towns, Kennebunkport stays pretty active in the winter. A surprising number of restaurants and shops were open. The fully equipped kitchen made it fun to eat in as well. Greg did a wonderful job in ensuring the house met all our needs."

"The owner is available and helpful. The description on site and photos are very accurate.Very comfortable, quiet and spacious. Near Goose Rocks Beach (easy to access and park). Lots of facilities nearby. I enjoyed riding my bike in the area every morning and the beach in the afternoon. The kids played basketball and soccer in the yard. We enjoyed cooking lobster and seafoods. Lots of good shack for food in Cape Porpoise and Kennebunk. I strongly recommend this place and we already plan to return next year."

"My husband and I were lucky to spend three weeks in August at this lovely spartan New England farmhouse which had been beautifully restored. It was light and airy throughout the day as the fresh Maine air would come through the open windows. Our two daughters spent a few weekends there along with an elderly family member.
The only negative aspect that I would like to point out is that the guest bathroom is on the first floor and the guest bedrooms are on the second floor. This makes it quite difficult for seniors to walk down the stairs during the night. This is not clear in the house description.
Aside from that, we were very happy with our stay there. We spent the time exploring all of the suggested towns and restaurants along the coast. Our favorite restaurant was Earth at Hidden Pond."
