"We loved it. Adults can easily walk to the beach (Footbridge or Ogunquit), but if you have small children you also have some other options. You can take the trolley ($2 per person, one way, but hard to lug all your stuff), you can pay $25 to park in the lot, or you can have an able bodied member shuttle you back and forth (this was our favorite option). Perkins Cove is roughly the same distance as the beach and is a really fun place to visit. We also took in a play at the Playhouse, took a trip to York Zoo and Nubble Lighthouse and went up to Old Orchard for the day. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is 2 reasons, and they are not huge, so maybe I'm being unfair, but here they are. First, the washer door was REALLY hard to open. I think there might just be something screwy with the latch (I promise I didn't try to open it when it indicated it was locked). Second, the shower off of the living room turned from freezing cold to scalding hot. I endured it, but the rest of my party opted to share the shower in the master bedroom, which worked great. I could have called Karen about either of these, but didn't really think it was a big deal. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we would definitely come again! Thank you Karen!"

"Similar to another reviewer, we are a group of women who were looking for a relaxing place, convenient to the beach and attractions, but slightly off the main roads. The house was in a quiet area, very comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed (we like to cook). The owner was super helpful, as was her dad. I would definitely return again."

"My husband and I stayed here after much research on places to stay in the Ogunquit area. We were not disappointed! The condo was perfect for 2 people and even had 2 beach chairs to bring to the beach. There is a common area that has a full sized washer and dryer to use during your stay which was great as we didn't have a ton of laundry to do when we got home. There was even a bookcase full of books that you can borrow during your stay! The best part were the views from the porch and from the bedroom where there were 2 recliner chairs to enjoy the view and relax or read. The entrance to the Marginal way and a trolley stop were right over the foot bridge---very convenient!!! Our week long stay was nice and quiet. Thanks Laurie! :)"

"We were looking for a family vacation home that would be large enough to accommodate family & friends. We found this property on VRBO and feel so lucky that we did. The house is very large so even when we had quests it did not feel like everyone was on top of one another. The home is easily walkable to the beach and the town (and zoo).
With all the attractions are close, the property is set back on a very large lot so you hear no noise at night and the kids can have plenty of room to play baseball or soccer.
The home is clean and the kitchen is large which was very important since we didn't want to eat out for every meal. In fact, there is a great BBQ that can be used. The furnishings are appropriate for a rental home that allows children & pets. The last thing we wanted was to stress over every movement the kids made while in the house. Everyone was able to relax.
The owners are very friendly and responsive. One of the nights we were there the microwave stopped working and we informed the owners.....they replaced the microwave the next day.
Overall a great experience and the kids are already asking to go back. We would certainly rent this property again.
