"I cannot think of a better getaway! Blessed with great weather at the end of October, being beachfront is still the very best. We traveled to Maine, just to walk, catch up, talk, and alternate light cooking with dining out. We were delighted to find enough sun to sit on the expansive deck a bit. The best part about this quiet end of Goose Rocks Beach is the massive tide, which provides beautiful long walks adjacent to Timber Island, which itself is worth a visit, not just to see the house from another angle! Bruce, the owner, was a delight to deal with, and besides the incredible location, the house was fresh, expansive, and had everything for a perfect stay. I really appreciated, the all inclusive price, and that the linens were provided, just arrive with food and wine, and chill! We were lucky to get one last cocktail at the Tides and a meal at Earth before they closed for the season. The Wayfarer, in Cape Porpoise, is a great stop for any meal the rest of the year. We will be back, if we can find a spot!"

"As the father of two small children (ages 3 and 5) I highly recommend this location. It's a short walk from Gooch's Beach, a very family-friendly, non-commercial spot. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed digging in the clean sand, as well as exploring tide pools and a nearby breaker, where they found countless crabs and tiny sea creatures. It's the perfect spot for early-morning walks (and runs!) and twilight strolls. The house is also about a mile from Kennebunkport (close enough for my wife and I to walk into town for dinner) and its outstanding shops and restaurants (we especially loved lobster rolls and fried clams from the Clam Shack and artisan ice cream from Rococo Ice Cream). The neighborhood is very tranquil, and its residents are extremely friendly and welcoming. The house features a great kitchen and deck for cooking and entertaining. It's also very spacious. In fact, we were able to easily accommodate my brother-in-law, his wife and their baby for several nights. There are plenty of options to chance your experience (we visited the nearby Trolley Museum and took a lobster cruise) and ways for spend quality time with your kids (ours frequented a nearby seaside playground and rode their bikes on the quiet neighborhood streets)."

"The attention to detail exceeded every expectation. This home exudes wonderful energy. I love to cook and the kitchen is well equipped and easy to maneuver. Dining in the ocean view dining room and on the ocean view deck is perfect! The bedrooms are nicely decorated and quiet. The location to town is convenient and it is nice to be lulled to sleep by the ocean roar. I highly recommend this condo.
The owners are a pleasure to deal with and a wealth of local information."

"Similar to another reviewer, we are a group of women who were looking for a relaxing place, convenient to the beach and attractions, but slightly off the main roads. The house was in a quiet area, very comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed (we like to cook). The owner was super helpful, as was her dad. I would definitely return again."
