  • Wonderful Stay! Beautiful view, comfy space!

"My boyfriend and I stayed at Laurie's place this past summer (July 2014). I have been meaning to write a review for months because we had such a great experience. Her place is perfect for 2 people. It is impeccably clean (and I am a neat and cleanliness freak) and cutely decorated. The downstairs table and kitchen has everything you would need for a weekend or week long (or month long if you should be so lucky!) stay. There are air conditioning units in the downstairs kitchen and bathroom area, as well as the upstairs bedroom area. There is a common area with a washer/dryer that is downstairs from the condo. The upstairs consists of a comfortable queen bed, television, and 2 lounge chairs overlooking the AMAZING view of Perkins Cove's shops and restaurants, the bridge, and the entryway to the Atlantic Ocean. Just beautiful. Laurie was so nice and helpful, but also left you to do your own thing. There is a parking spot that comes with the apartment, so it is possible to leave your car parked, walk over the bridge to Perkins Cove (she even has a little flashlight in the apartment to take with you on your walk back to the condo after dinner, she really has thought of everything you might want!), take the trolley to the beach, etc. You can walk to breakfast and coffee in the morning at Cove Corner, Common Grounds and Amore. Dinner at the Lobster Shack or That Place are very easy to get to. We've stayed at other places in Ogunquit and Laurie's place was, by far, the most comfortable and affordable place we have stayed at. We can't wait to come back!"

  • Great spot for corporate retreat

"My company rented the house for a corporate retreat. It was perfect for the needs of our 5 Directors. The rooms were very comfortable and we were able to do our work around the large dining room table. The comfortable surroundings allowed us to make great progress in our yearly strategic planning. It was a cold week, but unlike a lot of small towns, Kennebunkport stays pretty active in the winter. A surprising number of restaurants and shops were open. The fully equipped kitchen made it fun to eat in as well. Greg did a wonderful job in ensuring the house met all our needs."

  • Fun had by all

"Our first family vacation with both kids, their spouses, and our grandkids. The house was roomy (for 8 of us) and perfectly outfitted from sheets and towels, to pots and pans, and beach chairs. The view is unparalleled and it would have been easy to sit in the rocker and look at the ocean for 2 weeks. It is a quick walk to Short Sands Beach, a small family beach, and the beach shops and restaurants. It is also close to the Nubble Lighthouse. May I recommend taking a thermos of coffee and enjoying sunrise at the lighthouse? I guess the best way I can end this is that my full family is coming back next year."

  • Sweetest Little House in Maine

"This charming little house is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in Maine. Close to Kennebunkport/Kennebunk and all they have to offer, but away from the crush of the tourists when you need a break. The house has a fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill outdoors, should you feel like cooking, but is walking distance to Nunan's Lobster Hut (wicked lobster rolls and delicious blueberry pie!) and Cape Porpoise Kitchen, for when you don't. The rest of the house is cozy and built for lounging and the beds are more comfortable than one would expect for a rental property - sleep with the windows open and snuggle under the covers for the best nights sleep! For a real treat, walk to the Cape Porpoise Kitchen for coffee and breakfast then take a walk to the Cape Porpoise pier. Sit on one of the benches and take in the view of the lobster boats and the Goat Island lighthouse. Don't miss the Chowder House, with their delicious fish chowder and fried seafood. We will definitely be back to this little house, and next time, we're staying longer!"
