Very comfortable, Place felt like home
"Everything you read about this cottage is true. It was a pleasant week in a well equipped cottage. If you are looking for a quite close to the beach house for your vacation this is it"

"WONDERFUL!! The studio cottage, Sandpiper, was PERFECT!! My (now) husband and I traveled to Ogunquit to get married, and we stayed at the Sandpiper cottage for five nights. We were so happy with the cottage, it was clean, quaint, quiet, welcoming, and more. We could not have been happier. We met Mark and Judy and they are so welcoming, friendly, and personable, we loved meeting them. They gave us great suggestions for local restaurants and more, and they were right. We took them up on some of their suggestions and were very pleased. Great cottages, great owners, great town.....we could not have asked for more. We cannot wait to return, and when we do, we will stay at the Sandpiper (or one of the other cottages Mark and Judy own). By the way, my mother-in-law rented one of the other cottages, and it too was clean, quaint, and wonderful. Thank you Mark & Judy!!!"

Awesome Vacation, this house was a great location.
"Just returned from our 1 week stay at this house/apartment. It was great. Very clean and close to our favorite beach - Footbridge Beach. It was an easy walk to the beach, we went down to the beach a couple of times a day as it was so close. A few yummy restaurants were walking distance as well. Residential area was nice and quiet and close to many other activities by car. Owners were great to deal with and answered all our questions. Cottage had everything we needed, we just brought sheets and towels and beach items of course. Bedrooms were spacious with nice big closets. Would definitely return. Highly recommend."

"We loved it. Adults can easily walk to the beach (Footbridge or Ogunquit), but if you have small children you also have some other options. You can take the trolley ($2 per person, one way, but hard to lug all your stuff), you can pay $25 to park in the lot, or you can have an able bodied member shuttle you back and forth (this was our favorite option). Perkins Cove is roughly the same distance as the beach and is a really fun place to visit. We also took in a play at the Playhouse, took a trip to York Zoo and Nubble Lighthouse and went up to Old Orchard for the day. The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is 2 reasons, and they are not huge, so maybe I'm being unfair, but here they are. First, the washer door was REALLY hard to open. I think there might just be something screwy with the latch (I promise I didn't try to open it when it indicated it was locked). Second, the shower off of the living room turned from freezing cold to scalding hot. I endured it, but the rest of my party opted to share the shower in the master bedroom, which worked great. I could have called Karen about either of these, but didn't really think it was a big deal. Overall, the experience was wonderful and we would definitely come again! Thank you Karen!"
