"EXCEPTIONAL!!! Views you can't believe. We have stayed here for the last several years and have never been disappointed. The owner is wonderful . . . very friendly, helpful, available and considerate. Fresh flowers, Fireplaces(2) ready for use. More than I expected and look forward to returning year after year."

"That is exactly how I feel when I come for a visit at Rick's Haven. I rented this adorable spot from Sept-Dec 2014. The unit is clean, comfortable and offers all of the conveniences of home. Pour yourself a cup of coffee or glass of wine and take in the stunning marsh view at dawn or dusk. The owner's dock offers kayak/canoe access to the marsh. Steps away from the pristine Goose Rocks Beach and minutes drive to the port and Cape Porpoise Lighthouse. Portland is an easy 40 minute drive. I am just home from a recent visit and can not wait to return. The owners are wonderful and hospitable people who have become much like family! Great spot for couples, families and dog owners."

"This lovely lakeside cabin in the woods gives new meaning to the word serenity. If you want quiet, you've got it. Beautiful surroundings, not a problem. And really there were enough amenities to make you feel quite pampered despite the rustic environment. Our bed as well as the livingroom furniture were very comfortable indeed. Martinis at twilight on the terrace overlooking the lovely lake anyone? For us this was as good as it gets! The only negative I could come up with is the mosquito factor but that goes with the territory. Keep covered up if they love you too much, would be my advice. We made day trips to cities on the Southern coast of Maine and I can tell you there's almost nothing that's over 35-40 minutes away. Even Portsmouth, N.H. is not that far. So add "very convenient" to this review! My husband and stepson became fishing fanatics and utilized both of the kayaks and the canoe more than once during this stay. I absolutely would return, and thanks Robert for your excellent communication!"

"My husband, our dog and I spent a week in July 2015. It was just right- the cabin felt clean and homey. The kitchen is well equipped and large enough for real cooking. There are books and magazines and games and a tube and a kayak and a canoe. And a huge outdoor fireplace for snuggling. The deck is large and perfect for reading, grilling and eating. We saw practically no other people all week, and enjoyed the peace and quiet."
